BL talk on a stream I'm watching has me realize that as much as I ship men together, I never actually watch or read any BL 😂 Guess my main form of consumption is fanart

Euren (CV. Kawanishi Kengo)
Q. Please share about your first impression of your character, and what you think is his most appealing feature.
A. When I first saw the character illustrations and read through the script, my impression was that he’s a very aloof and elusive person who’s hard to grasp. But underneath that, there's an incredibly different side to him. I think this large gap between two extremes of his character is going to be one of his biggest charm point for the players.
Q. Where there any lines that particularly stood out to you during recording?
A. There were actually quite a few… but if I had to pick, it’d have to be when he says “Koma-chan”. It really left a strong impression on me because of the way he closes the distance right from their very first meeting by calling her that. I'm too sure how the other suitors refer to the player (the heroine), but if I had to choose one line that truly represents his character, I’d still say it’s “Koma-chan”.
Q. Please say something to the fans.
A. Whether you’re an existing player of Ikemen Villains or you’re just about to start, there is a new character who’s going to join the cast. I gave my best efforts during recording, in hopes that everyone will get to know him and come to love him. Please continue showing your support for Ikemen Villains.
Zane Regulus (CV. Kent Ito)
Q. Please share about your first impression of your character, and what you think is his most appealing feature.
A. Ikemen Villains has plenty of different types of bad men, but my first impression of him was that he looked like he’d be the strongest in a fight out of them all. His character matches his physical appearance in many ways. But there’s multiple sides of him… the side that shows he’s not quite used to interacting with people, and the side that’s more vulnerable… like how he can’t handle being poked in his sides. There are moments where he’s unexpectedly both physically and emotionally weak, and you catch brief glimpses of him acting his age. I think these occasional age-appropriate cuteness is what makes him charming.
Q. Where there any lines that particularly stood out to you during recording?
A. I’ve had opportunities to work on several titles under the Ikemen Series franchise, but I realise the heroine in Ikemen Villains is notably strong-willed (LOL). That really stood out to me. (※ Zane and the heroine form a relationship where they're equals who can be completely frank with each other.) As I was delivering my lines, I found myself thinking “this girl’s a tough one”. I personally felt that dynamic was very interesting, and it made the whole recording process incredibly enjoyable and rewarding.
Q. Please say something to the fans.
A. As Ikemen Villains celebrates its third anniversary this year, I think introducing new characters bears a very heavy significance in future story development. Because of this, I felt a real sense of responsibility in taking on the role of voicing one of these new characters. I approached the role with hopes of bringing more vibrancy to the game’s world. As for the other members of Libra, they’re voiced by two actors I truly adore. The three of us together, well… we might make quite the formidable trio (LOL). I couldn’t contain my excitement when I heard I’d be working alongside Maeno-san and Kawanishi-san. I’m going to give this role the best of my abilities, so I can bring out what makes these new villains so appealing, and hopefully open the door to a whole new world for all players. I hope you’ll continue to support not only Ikemen Villains, but also Libra.
Lucien Mortcendre (CV. Maeno Tomoaki)
Q. Please share about your first impression of your character, and what you think is his most appealing feature.
A. Personality wise, he’s cool and has an unfathomable side to him. I think one of his biggest charms is that calm, impassive facial expression he always wears that never lets you figure out what he’s thinking. When it came to deciding how expressive and emotional he should be after falling in love with the heroine, I initially thought I’d work it outwith the staff during recording as we built the character together. But as I continued to play his character, I realised that not showing much emotion was actually one of his points of appeal. There are plenty of characters whose impressions change dramatically as the story goes on, but with him, I could keep his image consistent from start to finish. That made him a character I enjoyed playing.
Q. Where there any lines that particularly stood out to you during recording?
A. It has to be “bébé”. It’s French for “baby”, right? That word really left an impression on me. I just thought it was a nice word.
Q. Please say something to the fans.
A. This time, I had the pleasure of voicing the new character, Lucien. I think he’s a very layered character. He seems extremely cold and ruthless at first glance, but as you grow closer to him… what kind of changes will be brought about in him…? I hope you’ll play the game and experience that journey for yourselves!

AO3 was founded partly in response to a growing trend of fanworks being removed from websites that had previously allowed them. This pattern has been observed numerous times throughout fandom history.
Whenever there are fears about censorship on other sites, AO3 sees an increase in the waitlist for our automatic invitation queue. Regardless of their reasons for joining, we welcome any new user to our site who agrees to abide by our Terms of Service. We will not vet new users for "legitimacy", because AO3 is for everyone.
The OTW has no plans to change the content we allow on AO3, and we stand by our commitment to maximum inclusiveness of fanwork content. We will not remove works unless they violate the AO3 Terms of Service, and we don't make decisions based on how many times something is reported. Users do not need to worry that anyone's works will be taken down due to a baseless report or a mass-reporting campaign, if one were to occur.
Regarding the unverified rumors that reports to the Policy & Abuse committee have greatly increased in the past few days, changes in ticket volume can be due to many different factors (including simple coincidence). If you're interested in learning more about how many and what kinds of reports the Policy & Abuse committee receives, we publish information about the previous month's tickets in our monthly newsletters as well as an annual breakdown of ticket types on the OTW website.
