A currently unnamed decay deity - for now I'll call them Decay

They're a benevolent deity, having a mostly peaceful temperament. Despite what they embody as a deity, they are very revered; always adorned in jewelry and showered in offerings. Their existence serves to keep life and death in balance, and they are a very important deity maintaining the cycle of life.

Wannabe Virtual Model

Created Jack recently. A shapeshifting crow familiar. If you want to read more about him, theres more info below

- Crow familiar, and mediator between the supernatural realm. Currently in service and bound to a witch

- Heavily crow coded

- Age unknown. Has been "in service to at least 13 other witches" before his current summoner

- Is able to collect knowledge and survey vast exapnses of land. Very knowledgable in herbalism  

- Master of unlocking - and sneaking into places

- Can shift between a crow and more human like form - can never shift into a full human. Has a third shift into a more monstrous harpy-like creature (to be drawn) 

- A menace. Likes to get into trouble with a smug grin to match. Picks his targets wisely though - very smart and cunning. 

- When he isn't playful or getting into mischief, he's very mellow and often pensive 

- Extremely loyal and affectionate to his witch. He enjoys Jack's bullshit because he never takes it too far

- Has a keen eye and likes to collect trinkets, bones, precious items, money and jars. He has a void satchel to store these in, but prefers to put them on view in the material world

- Enjoys foraging and scavenging - always finding something

- If he sees something he wants, he must get it - and will come back later if he can not get it right away. Has an incredible and photographic memory

- Will eat anything, including out of the trash. His favorite foods are cold fries and roadkill.

- Eats like a bird. Lots of snacks all day long. Always looking for a nibble

- Flies with a murder of 35 other crows. They all have names - but in crow speak. They are just normal crows, but Jack can use them as surveillance

So if they’re supposed to keep life and death in balance, how do they do so?

It's not exactly an active "responsibility". Their existence alone sustains a part in the cycle of life, decay specifically - you can assume that there are other deities in this cycle, but I've not (and don't plan to) designed them yet

If they were to be destroyed, then decay in the natural world would no longer happen. It would cause a chaotic ripple affect. For one example, decomposition would stop occurring

Another year passes...

Will keep working at my current goals - being able to afford medical treatment and continue to save for relocating overseas. I really just want to move on from this chapter in my life. I want to be with my partner and start making some sort of a living together. 

I will keep working hard - I just hope the universe cooperates a bit more

The Void's imitation

Tarakios, or Raki for short. A monstrous warrior who makes a lavish living fighting other monsters in the arena. Proud and aggressive in the battle, but gentler and compassionate in everyday life.

Omg I would love to see him face my boy Vherra in battle in the arena. Vherra is fierce, proud, an absolute showboat, and aggressive as fuck in the ring, but genuine and down to earth outside of his matches. He actually loves when someone he fights challenges him, and if he's defeated in battle, he buys a drink for the one who one. I could see him and Raki becoming friends.

One of his best friends is a warrior he has had a long-standing in-ring rivalry with. They fight like hell in the ring, with a highly entertaining rivalry to watch. Outside of the ring, they're really good friends and always relax after the day's matches together. The winner buys the loser dinner and a drink.

They'd definitely get along. Raki fights viciously for victory, but takes pride in defeat so long as a good show has been put on. Craves a challenge and values earnest rivalry.

Likewise, he's very chill outside of battle, just wants to relax and recover, so he's in prime form for the next fight. I'm sure he'd appreciate a few drinks and some good banter to unwind

How big is he? Vherra's roughly 9 feet tall in his bipedal form. His Beast form is close to 8 feet at the shoulders on all fours and very bulky. He rarely faces an opponent who can face his Beast form in battle, at least size-wise. His friend Tamaar uses her flight and agility against his beast form if he shifts. In Beast form, Vherra has a lot of brute strength and thick natural armor, but not much agility. He can't make fast turns and is too big to jump or leap. He can rear and swipe and lunge forward and his bite force is intense. While huge and powerful, Beast form is much better on an open battlefield than an arena and puts him at a disadvantage when shifted. He, however, feels that this makes the battle more interesting.

The more I think about it, the more I think those two could get along and have some fun battles xD

I'd imagined Raki would be between 9-10ft tall, as he is part giant. I'll place him as 9'6 (289cm). 

He is not fast, but makes up for that with strength and mastery of weapons. He can also absorb blunt force well, add to that his good balance and he is a wall (some may question the balance of a four armed giant; it's all core strength and proper footing. I swear)

He does however rely a lot on his weapons, unarmed he will be brawling with a very aggressive wrestling style. Mostly lacking natural defenses, aside from thicker skin, he prefers to end the fight before the opponent can hit him.
