I dunno why but I just love how almost the entire fandom is super mad at him (myself included) but at the same time there's just something adorable about these two together. Mostly for Ekaterina, because she finally gets to feel what love really is. I can't stay mad at her this much as I am at this charming cat Averin 😂

I adore Simka and Potap. The most common sense couple.

(Tho one of my mother's cousins is named Serafima which Simka is a really casual diminutive for and when fam talks about her, it's always Aunt Sima and it's not the most common name nowadays so every time they say "Simka" I do a double take of who's being disrespectful to a nice old lady hahah)

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but Spitsyn is literally the best character in this series. Yes, his character is not the most pleasant, but in fact he is the only one of the Spitsyn/Averin, who is faithful to his wife (at least for now), and generally a good husband and father. He does not deny his wife and daughter anything, obeys, spoils, does not show violence, does not even raise his voice, although he can be strict. So I'm watching him with interest.

I agree! So far he is being shown as a "perfect character" while the rest have way more imperfections than him. To be honest, almost every single character in this series is so freaking likeable in their own way (at least to me). Whether it's a ominous woman like Nikolai's auntie or strict man like Mr. Spitsyn. Even Nifontov is a pretty fun written character (also big kudos to Vyacheslav Chepurchenko and his amazing acting) They're all very charismatic and I love watching every single scene with them!!! ❤🔥
