Question: How exactly is Down with Hate spreading anything but love? You seem to think that it's a terrible movement when in reality, all it's doing is spreading love and resources to those who need it.
The creator of down with hate said that he only believed that he/him and she/her pronouns (aka “binary” pronouns) are valid pronouns (so much for loving nonbinary people). In the same post, he blamed non-binary people for his parents’ transphobia.
spread-love-everybody (and jeancrocker’s friend and DWH affiliate takashi0) said that people who support DWC “aren’t really trans” (because differing opinions invalidates your transness now, apparently) but in the same post said that people who accused DWH people of “not being really trans” (which is still very gross; don’t invalidate people’s transness) is an awful and disgusting thing to do. Apparently it’s only ok for them to invalidate trans people when they do it.
Here’s a down with hate supporter accusing DWC people (and trans people) of being pedophiles and sending them death threats.
Here’s takashi0 (again, one of the creator’s close friends) misgendering a DWC person and using ableist language against them (isn’t misgendering just the most loving thing? /sarcasm).
tumblr user table-mat (a down with hate supporter) sent many death threats to DWC people who argued with him. He also misgendered @tabrisofficial for “disrespecting” him and misgendered tabrisofficial’s dad (while calling nonbinary identities “special snowflakes”).
tumblr user sawcleavers (a DWC person) has had their posts screenshotted and posted to reddit, which caused them to get even more harassment than they already had. The poster was a DWH person. (Sawcleavers also has a “hate from down with hate” tag that documents all of the harassment they’ve gotten from people who are “down with hate”, because nothing says you’re against hate like sending hate to people who disagree with you.)
Another post documenting sawcleavers being harassed by DWH people. (Notice the copious amounts of slurs thrown at them.)
tumblr user @choco-kick being harassed, sent death threats, and having slurs thrown at by DWH supporters. (Nothing says love and acceptance like telling someone to kill themselves, right?)
