My father named me Rosalina Highwind at my birth, though I prefer to be called Rose. I will also be called Lina if I know you well enough. I have officially been adopted by pentanttraitor. I love him dearly, and I will not stand idle if you decide to hurt him. It was Rose’s turn to get angry. Saying she wasn’t who she was…who did this kid think he was? “You’re not the last! I don’t know who you are, but I live here with my father under King Cecil! You must be out of your mind!”

Kain looked even more confused. “King Cecil? Cecil’s not the king he’s only seven… You’re the crazy one!”

“Only seven?” Rose had no idea what this boy was talking about. Then she realized where they were: her father’s room. Her hand flying to her blade, she commanded they boy with, “State your name and business to me in the name of the kingdom of Baron!”

Kain flinched when the girl drew her blade. He was unarmed, and she had to have at least a little training on him. He hadn’t done much more than sparing with Cecil. He backed away his hand touched the bed. Thee sheets rubbed against his fingers and his eyes narrowed. Kain quickly grabbed the sheet tossed it at her obscuring her view, and grabbed a simple spear from under the bed with his other hand. While the sheet was still in the air he ran at Rose sliding to trip her. He quickly sprung to his feet and pointed the spear at the girl on the ground. “My name is Kain Highwind. And you have no business giving me orders in the name of Baron.”

Rose was horrified. How dare this child use her father's name as his own! He was most likely a crazed hero worshiper that needed to be told reality. She hadn't lost he sword or her strength with the trip. With quick thinking, she kicked at the spear and the boy. "You are not my father! How dare you use his name as your own!"

Rose began to panic as the boy began to get suspicious of her. Who was he? Where was he from? “No one by the name of Odin lives here. And if he did, he wouldn’t be the king.”

“Yes he does, and yes he is! He took me in after my father died in his service…. Now I ask your name again!” Kain seemed a little angry this time laced with confusion. Who was this girl claiming Odin wasn’t the King… “Who do you think is the King if not Odin?”

Rose was startled by the boy’s tone. Did he really not know who Cecil and Rosa were? “M-my name is Rose, Rosalina Highwind!”

Kain’s eyes widened at the last name. There was no way. “Liar! My father and I are-I’m the last of the Highwind family!” Kain was really mad now to claim to be part of the Higwhind clan. Right in front of it’s only remaining member. It was insulting.

“King who?” Rose was confused as to who this little boy was and who he was talking about finding.

“King Odin… You don’t even know who the king is, and you’re in his castle?… Who are you?..” Kain found it very suspicious that someone who didn’t even know the king’s name had entered the castle. You don’t just enter a random castle not knowing who lives there.

Rose was crying by this point. Her father and Cecil would have to meet him. She wished it wasn’t so, and even with Palom’s spell, Rose still felt this was all her  fault. “I’m so sorry, Your Highness. P-please don’t hurt yourselves for my sake. T-this is all my fault.” Sobbing, she ran over to Cecil and hugged him tight.

“Don’t worry my dear, we will take care of him.” He said embracing her. “We wont meet him without a way to fight. But I need to know if you know anything that he is planning…”

Rose started to shake as she tried to remember what the area of her cell looked like. “T-the walls are made of rock, and not the smooth kind. The floor is, too. T-they hurt when I sit on them. A-and the bars are metal. There’s a door he always walks in and out of, b-but I don’t know what’s past it.” 

Cecil sighed at her information. “Sadly that sounds like most dungeons. I fear with that we wont know where you are. We will  have to deal with him at his meeting place as he wishes. But don’t worry Palom can make a spell to find where you are so we should be able to help you without a problem.”

Rose looked down and stared at her feet as Cecil realized that this was a dream. Without looking up, she responded to his question. “I don’t know, your Highness. I’m scared, though. He keeps hurting me, and I miss everyone.” Tears formed in her eyes as she continued. “When I went to sleep, it was so cold and dark. I want to get out, but I don’t want anyone to get hurt saving me. I don’t know what to do.”

“Well we are forming a plan to save you but we don’t know where you are right now…”

Rose walked through the halls of the castle once again. Looking for her father, she decided to check in his room. That's when she saw him. It was a child, and he looked very lost. "Hello," she said as she walked forward with a kind smile. "Are you lost?"

Rose smiled timidly at Tifa as she entered the bar. At the greeting, she smiled a slightly bigger and said, “Hello. I was looking for my father. Have you seen a man by the name of Kain Highwind? He has blonde hair, like mine, and he’s tall.”

“Oh, your father?” It had only seemed like moments ago when the mysterious man with bright armor had entered the bar. “I’ve met Kain just recently, actually. He told me you were at the library with your friend from another world. Is something wrong?” Tifa nodded her head, eyes inquisitive as the young girl’s soft words made her wonder. He didn’t seem to worried about her when she first met him, but perhaps they were having a tough time finding each other now?

Rose shook her head at Tifa's question. "No. Nothing wrong. I was looking for him so that we could go home." She smiled at the thought of her father meeting this lady. She was sure pretty with her long hair, sweet eyes, and large...Rose refused to finish that thought out of fear. "He's such a great father. He's been nothing but kind to me since we met."

Beautiful and long blonde hair flowed in Tifa’s peripheral view as she put away bottles in the cabinet. Was it a new customer? The door had been left open as others began leaving her bar, someone must have let her in. With as big a smile as she could muster, for the bartender was just a little tired from working for four hours nonstop, she nodded her head towards her newest customer. “Welcome to 7th Heaven.”
