“Is two or three a lot?”
“If you cannot answer that yourself perhaps higher education is needed..”
“Metaphorical dicks are easy to understand, and handy.”
“Sounds like you have a lot of experience... Slow down a bit with that or maybe kids these days are learning these things much too early in life..”
SEEMS TITUS IS MAKING FINE WORK OF AGGRAVATING PEOPLE TODAY
“Suck my metaphorical dick.”
“I was told metaphor’s were too difficult to be processed? Of have you been converted?”
“Oh, take your age and shove it.” Age was meaningless when you weren’t a natural presence in this world and the basic concept of age was difficult to apply to you.
“So sorry... but the look on your face was worth it~”
“For the look on your face? Worth it.”
“I’ll admit it was rather clever... if not a bit strange coming from one your age,”
“So, I think I’d rather take things literally.”
“Well so long as you don’t mind dishing out that sort of reply every time... I suppose it may not matter..”
“I don’t have time to think on metaphors. Too busy changing the world for the better and getting laid for it.”
She’s genuinely out of words and doesn’t know how to reply to that. “I.... okay...”
felicitasculpa
“If there’s no room for you… then you just have to...
“Calm down. I’m moving.”
“You tend to take things quite literally don’t you?”
“If there’s no room for you... then you just have to make some.”
But this right here USED to be her attitude towards life
THROWBACK THO
I NEVER THOUGHT I’D SEE YOU AGAIN *SOBS AT UR FEET*
But this right here USED to be her attitude towards life
“I’ve broken away once, and I’ll do it again if it comes down to it,” the young fanalis responds, but already looked to be on edge. She knew full well how dangerous it was.
“Oh you have hmm? That’s interesting...” Or very negligent on the part of her owners as Thyra was particularly good at noting the strength of someone upon first glance. “A fair warning, Kou can be ruthless.”
He already could not stand this woman. She spoke as if she knew of his life. How could she possibly know anything? Still… she was right about one thing. Anger was useless without power to back it up. And right now, barefooted and in chains, he certainly had no power to speak of.
“… fine. Ain’t calling you Mistress or some bullshit like that, though.”
That was going too far. No matter how low he had fallen, and how much he looked the part at the moment, Kouha refused to be reduced to a slave.
“What do you want with me, if I’m so pitiful?”
“Fair enough, it would be unbecoming of a prince to do so, former or not.” She noted calmly, at one point having to look up to the Kou royals before their great fall out of power.
“Ah but we all reach our lowest point sometime.. it all depends who gives us the opportunity to rise again that matters.” She would defiantly have use for dungeon conqueror, “What would you say to reclaiming your metal vessel?”
@aberranthalfbreed
“You ought to be careful around these parts... fanalis don’t always fair too well in countries that allow slavery, little one.”
He hadn’t realized his hand had been shaking against the very staff growing clammy in his grip—each and every one of her words ripping through wounds that had no business to resurface.
Not again.
“I’m not denying anything…”
He knew it wasn’t, because he’d told himself so. The Sharrkan that had lived half of his life as a burden to his own brother in an entirely new land wasn’t like the Sharrkan now. They were two different people…
His eyes falter unsteadily onto the floor beneath him—lips quivering more than he would’ve liked them too; a riptide of emotions thundering against the confines of his ribcage, waiting for each bone to snap with the continuous denial that racked in his heart.
You’ll only ever be second.
Inferior.
Worthless.
“I earned the right to sit here…b-because…I did earn it! I don’t serve anyone, except for myself, and the people I love. I don’t need to risk my life for a possibility that I know won’t be worth it—the fact that I’m here to watch over my people is more important to me than any metal vessel you could think of.”
“In a way I suppose you can... you chose the right person to follow, someone who could give you things in exchange for your loyalty. I’ll pity your brother then for not choosing as well as you did,”
That’s all it ever came down to... some would rise by sheer luck and other’s would be pushed aside. Their character or how fit they were to rule was irrelevant as they were all little toy’s to be played with and discarded as the true people in control wished to use them.
“I admire your attempts to discard the guilt and fear for the sake of the noble cause of ruling your country, but I doubt you will ever be able to fully free yourself from it. Your persistence is admirable; I’ll be cheering for you,”
