(darkenedxfeline) Nightshade sprinted through the forest in her feral form during the late evening, and as the sun continued to set, she only became stronger. Though she stopped as she noticed a familiar fox, looking at her as her tail flicked behind her.
[đŸ] Snowpup was trailing through the forest, wary of any wolves that might show up. While she knew their feud was only with MoonPack, the RumblePack she-fox wasnât about to take any chances. Especially not after she spent so much time with the other Pack due to her mother, Sleetblossom, having moved here with Blackkit. He heart twisted with grief as she thought of her mother and little brother. It wasnât fair. She wished there was something she could do to stop this useless fighting. That would come in time. For now, she needed to find the murderer that was killing foxes left and right.
She gave her pelt a shake as she shoved the thoughts to the back of her mind. She hoped to SpiritPack everything would be okay soon. This was getting out of control way too quickly for her liking. Her nose twitched as she picked up a scent that drifted across the wind. Blue eyes widened as she spotted a familiar black cat, one that she hadnât seen in awhile.
âNight!â the trainee barked happily, racing over to the feline, looking much happier than she was a moment ago. She had missed the dark-furred cat and was glad to see that the she-cat was alive and well.

{Night}
âEh. Havenât really been eating well. The life force of grass hardly leaves a dent in my hunget. Who wouldâve thought?â She shrugged, before she grinned in return. âAnd yea, I was aware of that. But youâre still a shortstack to me.â She let out a small but weak laugh, hoping to balance out her brief moment of being a downer with a lighter tone.Â
[đŸ] The news caused the vulpineâs ears to lower. Truth be told, the vixen didnât like the sound of that. Was there anything she could do to help her? The lighter colored animal thought for a moment, blue-gray tail-tip flicking from one side to the other as she did. Finally, one came to her.
âYou can take some of my life force if you need it,â Snowpup offered. âI think I got enough to spare and it should help you, right?â
âI donât think thatâd be a good idea,â she said, closing her eyes. âUnless I can control my impulse, my ink will drain the entirety of your life force, if not do some serious damage. And given youâre one of the few to be nice to me, I wouldnât be able to handle having that on my conscience.â
âSides, the process is... incredibly painful for the one Iâm taking the life force from. So I guess Iâll have to deal for a while, while hunting things like mice on the side to help tide me over.â She looked up at the sky. âThe New Moon approaching doesnât exactly help either.â
