Muslim: No! You don’t get it, you have to read the tafsir (interpretation) and the entire context!

Muslim: No! You don’t get it, you need to read the hadiths that supplement it, but only hadiths that I am personally okay with because the other ones are not authentic!
Ex-Muslim: Okay, but what you just directed me to still makes this just as misogynistic, if not even worse!
Muslim: No! You don’t get it, you need to listen to the scholars and let them tell you exactly what it means!
Ex-Muslim: *After listening to the recommended scholars* Well, I did, and it now sounds severely worse!
Muslim: No! You don’t get it! Let me change the subject, our prophet said, “Paradise is under your mother’s feet”, now what do you have to say!!
Ex-Muslim: That has nothing to do with what we are talking about here, and besides how does some vague allegory about a non-existent place being under a mother’s feet do any justice for women?
Muslim: No! You don’t get! Let me quote more completely irrelevant sayings by prophet Muhammad for you that are not documented anywhere and nowhere to be found in the Quran, and if they were they wouldn’t change anything! Now after hearing this, how could you say there is anything misogynistic about our beautiful religion! You just carry so much hate and anger, and you are an Islamophobe and you hate Muslims!
