"You. Leaving me. Having moved on since I was away for so long."
"Why would I even leave you?
Yes. You've been gone for a while, but I had a feeling you'd return."
"Nothing’s wrong. I’m just being paranoid, that’s all…" Look distracted Finn, don’t flip your shit on him yet. It’s way too early in the relationship to flip everything and scare him off.
"Paranoid about what?"
"Y-yeah. It was fun. We did a lot of shopping. Mother bought a lot of clothing for us." Finn didn’t seem very happy at the moment. Mostly because he’d been gone for such a long time. What if Darren ‘ditched’ him during his absence?
"...are you okay, novio?" The little nickname he often used for the blond slipped out and Darren watched Finn carefully. Finn didn't look happy at all. The taller boy stepped forward, lips pursed into a frown.
Finn flinched and recoiled away from Darren.
No he didn’t want to be yelled at. Not by anyone, least of all Darren. “Mother too me to Spain…for a vacation…” He wasn’t about to shoot back some witty remark or something, he just got back and he’d rather not have someone yelling at him.
Woops.
He hadn't meant to explode at the blond.
Darren's expression softened. "...sorry." He looked down at his feet, his voice rather quiet. "Did you have fun, there?"

"Screw that! How can you just not care that I was gone? Seriously, I disappear without warning for months and you just babble about dumb squires?!"
"You seriously think that I didn't miss you?! Geez, I've been really busy! It's not like I could suddenly stop training. Training to be a knight is hard work. It takes a lot of concentration and dedication!
I've missed you a lot, okay? I've thought about you each and every day. Been wondering where you even went. So. Tell me; where were you?"

Seriously. How could they be so stupid?"

(eyyyy I actually remembered the email to this blog.)
"Yes, of course!" Finn grinned at Darren. The poor boy was acting really odd…maybe he needed cheering up. "Look, if this is about last night, I’m sorry about putting you on the spot like that, and perhaps making you act so strangely. You could have just…said no."
"I didn't WANT to say no!" Darren answered, face tinging red. "I'm glad I said yes. Very glad...I-I just...I don't know why I'm nervous." Surely, no one at the castle knew about them; they'd been discreet about their relationship, so far...
"Nice of you to offer, Darren, but I already took care of that. I bought six new tunics today. Are you alright?" Darren was acting strange. Perhaps getting intimate wasn’t the best thing to do…
"Six?" Geez, how much clothing did someone need? Darren nodded stiffly, running a hand through his hair. "I'll be fine. Would you like to do something with me, later?" Darren was acting strange. He wasn't meaning to, he was just...a little worried.
"Pretty great so far, I’m almost done eating, I went shopping. I lost a button last night, it’s probably still on your floor somewhere." Waste of a perfectly good tunic…
"Well...that's good. Glad you're having a good day." Darren rubbed the back of his neck, "Oh...you did? Um...sorry about that. If you want, I could...get you another tunic?"
"Hey, cutie." Darren seemed upset, or maybe he was just freaking out. Either way, Finn wasn’t about to let Darren interrupt his lunch. "What’s wrong?"
"Nothing, I just...I just needed to get out of the castle, for a while. How has your day been going, so far?"
Of course, Finn was in town, casually eating lunch. He was acting like nothing was different. He hadn’t told his mother a word, not that she needed to know anything about his sex life.
Or love life either. She’d kill Darren.
Darren swiftly headed into town. He wanted to find Finn, he couldn't stay at the castle at the moment. He was too anxious. Spotting the blond, he rushed forward.
"Finn!"
