Who is zest

Zest the Willful

Pride and joy of Hitch the Stubborn, and elder sibling to a missing boy. Zest spent much of his time in combat training with his father, so that he would one day take up the role of protector. He bears a striking resemblance to his father, though that only goes surface-deep.

Hitch spends almost every morning the same- picking up something to eat at Sutton’s tavern before he gets to work preparing for the night to come.

The tavern door opens behind him and he looks up from his meal, quirking a brow. New bugs are a rare sight in Darkmoor, and often a cause of paranoia for new residents. Never for Hitch, though. He quirks a brow at the newcomer, and gestures to the open seat at the bar beside him. “Welcome t’ Darkmoor. You won’t find much friendly company here, but I’ve got an open seat here.”

Glutton stares for a moment before a mallicious plan came to his head. "How nice'a you." He walks over and sits down. The barstool was a bit hard to sit on until he brought his legs up onto it, crossing them. "I take it you're one who's more open to new people?"

“Hardly.” Hitch puffs, finishing off his coffee and setting the mug aside. “Just happen to have some shred of decency. Sutton’s nicer.” He goes on, leaning on the counter a little as he picks at his breakfast. “What brings you here, anyways?”

What enemies are in darkmoor?

Quite a few! Mostly mutated wildlife and mad bugs, but even the environment itself could be considered an enemy! I’ll be starting a project to draw them all soon

What are swampers?

One of the many enemies in Darkmoor, swampers are bugs fused with what was once simply wildlife. They’re found out in the Bog, and are highly aggressive. Swampers attack by spitting or ambushing from the murky water, and can be quite formidable at close range. They’re best dealt with using a shotgun or other firearm.
