Out of all the colors, people with an orange soul color are the most social. They are happiest around people and prefer to be out partying than sitting at home on a Friday night. They are never short of friends and get to know people all over the world.

it was a quiet, peaceful place… the people there were simple, and they didn’t require much to live on. the majority of them were fishermen that came and left, with only a few permanent residents on the island. as such, it wasn’t difficult for hisoka and pitou to slip in unnoticed, mingling among the crowd.

at night, they struck.

it was child’s play to sneak into the boy’s home. pitou fondled the present in their hand, purring with delight over the prank they were about to play. they’d wrapped the box expertly, despite how new they were to this, and left a note:

inside the box? a small cloth doll, with long silver hair, a hooked nose, and a blue hat. it had apparently been torn apart and sewn back together again several times. it bore a crooked smile, visage almost mocking with its dead eyes.

The sound of glass thumping against carpet, though not quite shattering interrupted their moment. A pale hand reached inside through a circular hole in the window that had not been there before, briskly unlocking it from the outside.

Hisoka soon joined them, glancing down at their present before placing his own offering on top: an equally profesionally-wrapped box containing a well-preserved Hemotropic butterfly enclosed within reinforced glass and under it, two packs of gum sporting a more or less familiar brand name.

“Do you think he’s still asleep?” he whispered, side-eyeing his delivery partner and grinning deviously. How adorable. But they couldn’t say ‘hello’, unfortunately. Not tonight. “Perhaps we should go.”

Soon after, he vanished with them following close behind.
