i’m procrastinating so i’m rewatching some bits from disney’s fantasia and it’s so hard to believe that the studio (in name at least) who was able to make something this extraordinary and creative is now making. like. mufasa a lion king story lol

what doubly sucks about this is that i'm sure there's no shortage of super talented artists that are ALREADY AT DISNEY. And instead of giving them anything interesting or artful to work on, they have to make sure that an ugly cgi lion twitches his ear or whatever the fuck. Given the resources and tools that disney have at their disposal, they could easily make something revolutionary and impressive and yet all they produce is SLOP. what a waste.
