Someone else said this on Twitter but this is how I feel about this show and their relationship at this point:

I don't get it, why is everyone making it seem like this talk from Chen Yi is because of Jing? Why do they want me to feel like Jing is expressing her love in return or something? It's true he doesn't express it directly, but his love for her is obvious, unlike hers 🤔. Plus, this isn't anything new for him—he's always asking about her, coming to her at work, asking what she wants to eat. That's why I feel like there's something wrong with that point; I don't agree with it… But it seems like the writer is determined to make Yi chase after Jing in any way possible. Then there's something weird—why is everyone making me feel like Jing is the one who's been continuously giving??? Wait, what has she even given him in the first place???

I mean she waited beside his dead body, for three days without anything confirming that he might come back to life. Thats joseon level insane, she avoided anyone trying to barry him, they probably thought she was attracting some kind of bad omen. And then she went to haunt his soul, to guide him back to his body. They did soulmate like no one this year.

I don't want to call anybody names... but a lot of the criticism I see in the tag for the show seems like nitpicks that grifters would use and that automatically makes your opinion invalid and makes me think less of you...

one interpretation of polytrix i sometimes think about is polytrix being open up until the events of the movie. like of course all of them love each other but they cant commit to each other out of fear/shame. From the public relations perspective a sapphic polycule is not going to fly unfortunately so all of them having rumors of dating other people would distract from their relationship. and for rumi, who in my mind has convinced herself thats shes ace because of her demon patterns, being open is kind of a way for her to let zomira feel satisfied without her. (it never really works) Zoey and Mira will have one night stands or short relationships with people and they eventually get comfortable with asking rumi for advice. rumi on the other hand is basically in a qpr with zomira and doesn’t let herself get into other relationships. So when she semi falls for jinu zoey and mira feel jealousy over rumi for the first time and that is part of the reason things fall apart. after the movie they would talk, everything out in the open, and realize that they let their faults and fears stifle their relationship. rumi would slowly get more comfortable in her own skin and start to participate in sex, where of course zomira praise the shit out of her till she cant walk.
