Goff Deffdread for Orctober this year. pretty much just stippling.

Starting with underpaint of a rust layer (brown, red, orange, yellow) and patina (turcoise). Then stippling on the paints over, not entirely covering everything, followed by a watered down washes of paint, both for shading, but also as drips for weathering After that highlighting, then overall drybrush with whites, finished with blood effects where appropriate.

For the longest time I was mulling over in my head how I wanted to paint this Terminator Librarian, because I want to both make it clear he's from the Librarius, but also that he's in the Deathwing. I've seen people both do All blue armor, like the Box color. Which is fair, but the example is also a Ultramarine, so it's blue on blue. And People painting him in all Deathwing Colors with just a lil blue Shoulder, which is not what I'm after either. Revently I had the thought, "There DO be trim, technically..." and here I am. Blue Librarian, with Deathwing Trim, to represent both sides even on a glance. Def made the model more interesting for me to paint.

Also finished my Assault on Black Reach Terminator Squad.One guy had a Powerfist missing so replaced it with fitting parts.

Finished painting my Dark Vengeance Terminator Squad, which I had in little baggies for years because I thought I was done painting my Deathwing back in the early 2010's. But I think they needed to get painted, because they do be nice sculpts. Converted the Sergeant a bit because I dont really like the big Wing sticking up the torso, and I really wanted the hooded head instead of a helmet. And converted the terminator body that came double in the box, giving him more of a unique silhouette. the rest I kept stock.
