Foundation show is kinda pissing me off i feel like the writers just love adding kewl bullshit instead of writing a proper story . theres only a couple complelling characters and almost every other one is just there to stop them from doing interesting stuff and are only ever used when its time to Not tell the story. i could forgive this if they were thematically interesting but they just arent. they dont have enough time on screen to go anywhere and so what little exploration there is is shallow and boring. also sorry it does annoy me how bad their little explanations of using mathematics to see the future are i know scifi can do that but its so silly i cant suspend my disbelief properly when i see them doodling shapes and waving their hands around to make the Maths Device work and im supposed to pretend its them really doing anything with their brains.
