“kid?” oh, gosalyn. so that’s what she was up to. that could be a problem, but he’d sort that out later. preferably when drake wasn’t around. if she knew what he did to thad- but she COULDN’T. there was no proof.

“oh, i know you’ll defend me, darkwing. it’s what a hero does.” he chuckles and gives drake a fond smile. “you know, my boyfriend would be jealous knowing i got to meet you before him. he’s one of your biggest fans.” there’s a joke there, and he wonders if drake has caught on that he knows who’s behind the mask.

            at the mention of bulba’s boyfriend, there was a clear smile on darkwing’s face. a laugh that emerges from him -- was that a nod at something or was he being sincere ? drake, being the one to take the more PRIDE route, decided to take the man’s words as honesty.

            ❝  sounds like your boyfriend has good taste in superheroes. ❞ he says, grinning. he rubs the back of his neck, eyes moving away. a CLEAR of his throat before he gets back into a more professional tone.  ❝  well, if you ever need me for anymore protection, you know where to call. ❞

           everything was all fun and games until DIPWING showed up. but -- it was okay. calling that FAKE, has bin was a part of his plan ! after all, who else to take down darkwing than his own ENEMIES ?
