Hello? I know it’s late, but I saw the store was still open, and I was curious what all you had here. Mind if I take a look around?

“Oh yes! I have still open at this time and I have many things for you to choose from.”
“I have cupcakes, cakes, tarts, cookies, cheesecake and tiramisu and more and in the morning I also do breakfast items like quiche and bread.
Michael looks around at everything, a smile tugging at the edge of his lips.
“Oh man, all of this looks amazing! Do you make everything yourself?”
Darla glanced at him with a warm smile on her face.
“Yes, I made everything that you see in the bakery by myself.” “It can be little taxing for me, but it’s worth it.”
“That’s really impressive,” Michael says. “You’ve got real skill! Where’d you learn to bake like this?”
“Well I first learned to bake from my mother, then I went to college to get more experience.” Darla explained.
“Nice! That’s very cool! Lucky that you got to pursue something you were interested in in college. That’s definitely good,” he says with a smile.
Michael examines the rows of cookies. “In your expert opinion, what’s the best flavor to get here? I wanna bring some of these back for my little brother.”
'Well" Darla glances at the row of cookies in the display.
"I recommend getting something simple like chocolate chip cookies for you and maybe for your brother sugar cookies or any of the other flavors like raspberry or something with nuts."
“Okay okay, in that case, I’ll take an order of chocolate chip and an order of raspberry. That way I can play it safe and still try something new,” Michael says lightly.
“How much do I owe you?”
“That’ll be $21.50.”
“Okay, awesome, give me just a sec…”
Michael rifles around in his wallet for a moment.
“Have you lived here long?” He asks while he looks.
“I’ve lived in Santa Carla for a long time.” “It’s an interesting place to live in, but there’s always something new to do and plenty of places to explore.” Darla says while packing up the cookies in a brown paper bag.
“I’ve been picking up on that. Everything around here has an air of strangeness to it, but I don’t necessarily think that’s a bad thing.”
Michael places the right amount of cash on the counter, plus a couple extra dollars. “You can keep the change,” he says with a smile.
“Thank you for the extra tip, come back soon.” She said with a smile as she waved him goodbye as he walked out of the door.
