I think doakes genuinely should have stayed alive for longer. Genuinely would be really cool to have seen him and Dexter talk more, maybe if Dexter let him and doakes talk for a while longer they could have been friends and even more fr. They have such a weird enemies to lovers vibe.

and here it is!!! the first page where I drew or create my OCs!!! they're not great, like, at all but they are here!! you'll have to excuse my somewhat cringe + badly drawn bill Cipher joke I made for a friend at the bottom right. I'll spare details but I will mention that the little vested guy at the bottom is my selfsona and you'll be seeing him quite a bit more as the sketchbook goes on!!! it's at this point that I really start experimenting with eyes, mouths, hands and bunch of other stuff (hair's still quite icky, though, and you can tell when looking at my sona) .

I feel like the Dexter fandom needs more of me to understand how Debra Morgan isnt the bay harbor bop she's just an extremely damaged lady that got fucked over, by everyone in her poor life.

She's one of my favorite characters and I hate how she's just diminished to be hated every moment in the fandom space. The mischaractization is CRAZY.
