Not my usual type of post, but I gotta get my thoughts out. I just finished reading one of the Dexter books (second one) and I will never get the image of a yelling potato, or however it's phrased, out of my head. As far as engagement went, I think I actually preferred this one to the first one. I also understand why they didn't adapt this antagonist because I think it would have been too graphic even for a show about a serial murderer who kills serial murderers. Also, Doakes' first name in the book is Albert?
