if the stars burned, the stardust in her veins grew stronger
photoset challege    ⹠Neil thought about Reneeâs bruised knuckles, Danâs fierce spirit, and Allison holding her ground on the court a week after Sethâs death. He thought about his mother standing unflinching in the face of his fatherâs violent anger and her ruthlessly leaving bodies in their wake.Â
All children, except one, grow up. They soon know that they will grow up, and the way Wendy knew was this. One day when she was two years old she was playing in a garden, and she plucked another flower and ran with it to her mother. I suppose she must have looked rather delightful, for Mrs Darling put her hand to her heart and cried, âOh, why canât you remain like this for ever!â This was all that passed between them on the subject, but henceforth Wendy knew that she must grow up. You always know after you are two. Two is the beginning of the end.
@darlingangela LIKED THISÂ FOR A STARTER.
âDo you read to children often?â Mabel asked the other, leaning her head against the libraryâs bookshelf.
âas a matter of fact, i do!â wendy looked up from the pile of books she was sorting through to answer the question. âitâs the best part of my week, sometimes. what about you? i donât think iâve seen you here before.â

[ text to: DEN MOM đ·đč ] : bring cookies. but only the soft kind. and milk
[ text to: DEN MOMÂ đ·đč ] :Â and something to make this thing iâm writing to you with stop blinking red. itâs making me mad
[ text to: all good? đ«Â ] :  alright, Iâll have to go to the store because Iâm fresh out of cookies!! [ text to: all good? đ« ] : they have double chocolate, triple chocolate, salted caramel, and oat & raisin. [ text to: all good? đ«] : âthe thingâ is a phone. do you need a charger? [ text to: all good? đ«] : also, are you paying me back for all this?

the music wasnât quite right for a waltz, but wendy did not do well with modern dance styles, so she took one of sallyâs hands in her own, pulling her close to place the other at her waist. âhave you had any formal training? my mother taught me how to waltz, and to tango. i had the silly notion, when i was ten or so, of being a ballerina . . . but of course i was no good at it.â she had inadvertently put herself in the gentlemanâs role, to lead, so no doubt this would go very badly.

âi did tell you that experimenting with the hob would be a bad idea. those gas contraptions can be dangerous at the best of times. -- anyway, we can give you new eyebrows. makeup is a wonderful invention.â

a flush tainted his cheeks once more, and he sent a FRIENDLY smile towards the other, even though it PAINED him to do so. he didnât let it show on his features, however. â AH, thank you miss. â despite her words, he gently took off the crown, and set it on the table in front of him. â actually, no. there was an OLD WOMAN who offered one to me. couldnât turn her down, â he said. another lie. he had bought it himself from some girl who kept PESTERING him to do so. it took everything in him not to cast an unforgivable curse on her ; but he wasnât about to get exposed this early in the game. â you can HAVE it, â he said, smiling once more. â i feel like itâd suit you better. â he slid it over to her gently.
âhow mysterious! an old woman --- just like in a fairytale!â she smiled at him, reaching out to take the crown. wendy turned it over, inspecting the flowers: babyâs breath & forget-me-nots & clovers. âand if this is a fairytale . . . are you the huntsman? or the prince? -- or the wolf?â she was barely listening to the words coming out of her mouth, and she didnât expect him to be, either. she tried the crown on, adjusting it atop her head. âhow does it look?â

âThough I am not from Earth, I do not believe that is a saying here. Also, I heard there is a man who makes though and I do not want to be near him when he is angryâ
âwell, who says there is only one explanation? there are stories about everything. you donât know which one is true & which one isnât.â

[to: big sisterđ] How embarrassing was that?! [to: big sisterđ] YeahâŠI really thought I liked her⊠[to: big sisterđ] Turns out I just liked her brother đ
[to: đđ¶đž] did you give the flowers to him? [to: đđ¶đž] I imagine that would have been awkward for all involved. [to: đđ¶đž] itâs very rude to jilt someone for their sibling, trust me !! Iâve been reading all about the âgirl codeâ & iâm sure there is a male equivalent.
