#ok but you literally look like an idiot when you act like 108-216 never happened lmao#pay attention here he admitted his wrongdoings didn’t make excuses for himself#didn’t blame anyone else was willing to accept the consequence he thought he deserved which in his mind was death#then he made a complete 180 he didn’t continue to be an asshole or ‘relapse’ at all#he learned from his mistakes and made the effort to change#which is all part of being A DECENT HUMAN#which is why it’s so fucked up that he’s literally the only male character on tv who’s had a redemption arc I find acceptable#so I’m not saying he deserves to be worshipped for just being a decent human being#but I am saying that I think it’s shitty to erase this very well done development arc just for a ship war???#we should demand more arcs like this for male characters that don’t demand female characters to be sacrificed and trampled on for a man#instead his dependence on and growing respect for Octavia and Clarke was what he drew his strength from in a way that wasn’t draining or tox#I can’t believe I just typed all this on my phone but it’s just important ok#it’s just so much more than forgiving him cause he’s hot or whatever it is ppl are going on about#it’s actually something the show did a really good job with and ppl trying to twist it into a way to hate on a ship is so extra#yall need Jesus!!!!!!!!
