clcyinglysweet:
Truth be told Juliette doesn’t know what compelled her to get in between the two men, she knew the chances of her getting hurt were high but it was as if her foot moved before her mind was able to fully asset what was happening. It was as if some other being compelled her to stop them, to help him. This whole ordeal baffled her seeing as she doesn’t know the man, today was the first she meet him but just moments before the ordeal took place she locked gaze with him inadvertently, one that just lasted seconds at most but there was just something with the depth the hues of her eyes possessed, she couldn’t help but be compelled by them. It was almost as if they were sucking her in…
For some reason she was kicked out of the establishment along with the two other man. The larger man left while muttered cursed words under their breath and she remains right outside the bar alongside the other man whose name she still has yet to learn. “Said the guy that provoked a man twice his size.” Juliette quipped back as she inches closer to him, noticing the crimson red liquid slowly dripping down his temple. “You got a got there..” the brunette mumbled under her breath as she instinctively pat the cut with the hem of her denim jacket.
It almost took every muscle in her body to not show her disdain upon him calling her angel. A name her father often called her by, a name that always tugged at her heart in the worst possible way. “I’m a girl with many layers.” she mused as the corner of her lips tugged into a smile. “Juliette, And what exactly should I call you? Lucifer?” if she was an angel than he must be the devil.
Gabe couldn’t keep his eyes off the girl in front of him, the one that had saved him from the fight. Or the one that stopped him from releasing all the pent up anger inside of him. He’ll figure out whether or not that was a good thing later on, when she wasn’t reaching up for his face, wiping the blood away from his temple with the corner of her jean jacket. Did she not realize that that was going to stain her clothing?
“Some might call me the devil, but then again, that’s not usually because they see me in the best light.” He teased back, smiling as he watched her smile. It was a beautiful expression, especially on her, and in the back of his head, Gabe wondered what her face would look like if that expression was being seen when she was straddled atop him. “But no, you can call me Gabe.”
“So, do you always jump into the center of fights at bars, or is this a new hobby that you’ve picked up?” Gabe asked after a moment, chuckling as he crossed his arms over his chest. “Or, wait, I know. You were trying to be a knight in shining armor. I’m the damsel in distress.”
