Six Years Completed

September 25, 2010: I was sitting in Heathrow Airport lost in the what seemed to be another world. What expected to be a six month journey turned over six years. All fell apart and where did I go? No where. My mind, however, went on a journey. While memories were made and time passed, my mind remained numb, unnerved. All the lessons, all the moments from times past seem forgotten, but they hurt like a wanted wound. 

It took six years to fall apart only to build myself slowly back together and truth be told, I’m not quite there yet. This time, however, I feel like I finally started picking up the pieces rather than laying besides them.

I think it’s time to let go of the past and start making new memories.
