I cannot properly express my great sadness and grief right now. Linkin Park has gotten me through so many hard times in my life. Whenever I felt down about something, whenever I wanted music to escape to, Linkin Park was always there for me. This man’s voice carried me through so many emotions that I had to sort out when I was younger. The lyrics in his songs always hit me right in my heart. Even as their music changed and evolved, I still listened to them. I still loved all of it. My very first rock concert was a Linkin Park concert and it’s one of my fondest memories. I was hoping one day to see them again…

Chester Bennington went through so much, and I cannot imagine how heavy his heart felt in his last moments. I hope he has finally found some peace. 

Thank you for everything, Chester. I’ll always turn to your music when I need it.
