I think some of the SU ones, like the gem ships, Peri’s canon, the color schemes of the monsters and the glowing butterflies, are just coincidental. Those probably weren’t intentional. Yes, there are some definite references the Crewniverse made to anime, but I’m not sure all the ones shown above are actual intentional references to anime.
