A mysterious wanderer. A person of which no one has a clue to who they are.
Brave people, friendly people, scared people, aggressive people. They have all come and try their luck to mug, threaten, befriend, share. Trying to reach for an ounce of conversation. To explore a potential relationship whether it be love, control, adventure, anger.
They all hope that one day the walls would be gone. Through brute force or natural causes. They all want to see what's hidden beneath. To find what someone had berried with their own hands with tears in their eyes.
Do they know the experience of what that person had gone through to muster up the courage to build a shelter?
People can only guess what happened sadly. I can't blame them for that. Their curiosity skyrockets into pleasure at simply the thought of something deeper within.
They want to know. They need to know. But, the person isn't ready. They can't let them in because of what they know now. And they know the danger. They survived it and fought against it.
They know the patterns, tactics, how it starts, how it stirs, how it can hurt them again if they let it. They built a shelter that keeps it at bay, which they built a wall and defenses around it. Then they made a fortress out of the knowledge and the resources they have.
Now people are against it. Pleading for the wall to be taken down. Because they want to know what is inside. But, through the sea of crowds at the gate. The person can see the people responsible for the pain.
They circle the wall like sharks. And have gained followers have and ordered them to pursue their sick desires. They go up to the wall and they become one with the crowd while stirring them all to anxiousness.
The person isn't foolish. Won't bend a knee for a plea. The walls won't break until the person breaks. And as long as the person keeps their head held high, the walls won't shudder at the weight.
You see. The person is the wall. The wall is the person. They want to keep everything inside safe. So that everything won't go to shit.
People outside the wall can only damage it a small amount. But, if a person inside the wall were to break it. Their is a higher chance that the wall will leave a huge hole and everything that's in their has the chance to get damaged.
The people beg. Their throwing things at the wall. To entrapped with the things they hear to see how their going to fuck it up.
A bomb was heard inside. Someone had broken in. But, it was to late. The walls came down. And what everyone saw was a little child curled up in a pile of rubble crying.
Some people looked in the rubble for any worth of value. Their was none. Some people come towards the child in hope to establish some sort of way to make it better.
How could they know? How could they had possibly known? There's no treasure like what they had thought. Only pain. This is what they wanted. Something vulnerable to use.
Well, they have it. And the child isn't quick enough to fight back again.
