Hot take but telling every bisexual afab person to decenter men when you don't even know them is centering men with the assumption like??? Also as a bisexual thats also biracial the half the month bs is funny when it's from the community but otherwise it just feels like punching down. Anyway happy pride bc why are we infighting in times such as this when all of our rights are in danger. Love everybody and love every body. No one has to prove their queerness here and no one should have to prove it anywhere else either.
Stop telling actors about Fandom. Yes this is still about The Pitt. Firstly it's weird. Secondly their opinions are being treated as cannon and it is simply not. Where is the normal non toxic side of this fandom????
Not to be annoyed with The Pitt Fandom again but things the actors say in interviews aren't canon (even if you strongly believe it, and trust I do too)
My english professor just moved the due date for our final project back by two days so she can go to a Florence + The Machine concert with her wife and if that isn't the gayest and most convenient thing I've ever experienced idk what is
The Pitt fans need to understand actors have to on some level be on the side of their character regardless of if they actually agree with their character or not. Stop attacking actors for portraying and 'defending' complex characters that is quite literally their job, I promise you, Noah Wyle understands his character and in some ways better than any of us can. It is an insult to the art form to assume actors don't know this or their characters or can't intellectually understand their characters, just say you don't understand acting as an intellectual pursuit, sit down, and for the love of god shut up.
this is who we're meant to be. they are the best of us, they are all us
much love and respect to the Artemis II crew ❤️🚀
We are a good Earth. A mother planet. Of scientists and artists and people and the human spirit getting us to the moon again and getting us back and collaboration and this is what we're supposed to be and Artemis II is making me so emotional. As a former gifted kid that has been a space nerd my whole life its a reminder that you don't have to be the scientists to get us to the moon. You just have to join the human act of creation and exploration and community.
The jazz bar I'm in is playing jazz pink pony club
The two bars not an inconvenient walk away (in this weather) from me are closed tomorrow for weather so I can't even go out for my 21st birthday.
Civil Rights Activist Claudette Colvin has passed and so few people know her story. I first learned of her in middle school from a wonderful teacher I'd had. She did it before Rosa. Rosa was a planned activist and to ignore that part of the story diminished Claudette Colvin and Rosa Parks both. Claudette was a dark skinned poor teenager, Rosa was trained and prepared and palatable to white people in a way that Claudette wasn't. Claudette will always be so important to me, and if you have the time to read more about her please do. (And more about Rosa's very intentional activism).
“My mother told me to be quiet about what I did,” she said in an interview with The New York Times in 2009. “She told me: ‘Let Rosa be the one. White people aren’t going to bother Rosa — her skin is lighter than yours, and they like her.’” - NYT Article: Claudette Colvin, Who Refused to Give Her Bus Seat to a White Woman, Dies at 86

If you take a nap because the vibes are bad the vibes shouldn't be allowed to still be bad when you wake up.

superman textposts (7/?)
actually the best part of the new superman movie is the fact that lois and clark have been dating for only three months because that means clark fell so hard he told her his whole ass secret identity in 90 days. fucking u-haul lesbian behavior.
Saw Superman (2025) again last night and I still can't stand Ma Kent/Martha’s accent in the movie. Pa Kent’s is tolerable and a lot more realistic for the Midwest but Ma Kent’s is just too southern or at least not very Midwest sounding and it is incredibly off-putting and I love the character so it's definitely disappointing. The actress' real accent would have worked much better and sounded more believable for a character from Kansas.
