Budget 0 Forma No Helminth Early SP Mesa Build
Hello! I'm Daru and (I love Mesa) since Legacy Mesa is out maybe some new players are getting into the game and Mesa so... I want to share a build I always give to my friends or people that are new to Mesa.
Before starting with the stuff:
This is not a GOD BUILD MUST PLAY or anything like that. It's not even a good build. It's more like a baseline build for new players to get into Mesa. New players can improve this build as they play the game more.
Did a lot of solo tests on SP Mot with the exact same stuff I post here (so if you upgrade stuff like Arcane Velocity it just get better). Solid 100 KPM. Acolytes die "fast". It's okay. This is also an overkill for the Star chart tho.
I USED THE NON-PRIME VERSION OF MESA FOR THIS (stick regulator best regulator).
Oh no I have energy problems, Energy Nexus.
Oh no I'm dying a lot, any mod that get you more survavibility or the bis, Rolling guard. Remember that statuses are your worst enemy and Rolling guard removes them.
Hmmmm... there's a thing about Precision Intensify... I don't know if it works well with Mesa but I also tested with normal Intensify and really didn't notice any problems with Precision. You have to change it when Helminth comes into equation.
School? ZENURIK. Try to have Wellspring up all the time. that passive energy recharge is really useful.
Your best friend is gonna be... FIRE RATE! :) so upgrade your Arcane Velocity and equip a dual-weild secondary to get extra FR.
I also tested Accelerated Isotope for the 40% FR. Not big difference. I just think Sure Shot is more useful in Mot lol. You can also try to equip a non-maxed faction mod, they are always good. Getting Jolt gives you more capacity tho :)
Everything here revolves around Fire Rate. Before moving into status Mesa which is basically the way to play her in Late Game your best friend is Fire Rate. Peacemaker scales good with it and I think is better just to brute force FR instead of trying to make an early trash status build. It just works!11!!1!!!!!!!!!!
For pet. Just get a Panzer Vulpaphila or any pet that would easily get 1200+ shield and 50%+ Critical Chance so you can use Reinforced Bond (60%+ Fire Rate) and Tenacious Bond (120%+ Critical Damage). Panzer is good for survability (Also, you will not have energy problems with it) so It's the best option for new players.
Get this mod and use Furax. It's free 45%+ Fire Rate!!!!
How to play it? Use Shatter Shield and Shooting Gallery on cooldown. Try to maintain your wellspring buff up all the time. Use Peacemaker and kill stuff. Jump around while using it, it lowers the % of getting killed. That's all.
This build is made specifically for new players. No helminth. No formas. All the mods are really cheeeeeaaaaaaap and basic stuff that you get easily in early game. The most expensive mod is like... Augur secrets? To be honest any vet would gift these mods to someone if they ask lol.

Play coop. Mesa is not good for everything.
