i hate hearing my siblings and cousins talk so negatively about their bodies

my grandparents and aunts and mum have always been hyper critical of themselves and their kids so it makes sense why we all have poor body image, why is it so normal to body shame your kids :((

tw/ so i’ve noticed lately that

one of my brothers is counting calories and running everyday

the other is eating nothing and exercising in his room and weighing himself everyday

i swear to fucking god if boris puts calories in all menus i’m gonna lose my shitttt

i want to cry, it hurts my heart knowing they might be going through what i went through

i don’t know how to help, i don’t want to bother them because i know that at my lowest i wanted nobody to get involved, so i don’t want to overstep on them

i tell them that they’re perfect all the time and that food shouldn’t be controlled and that all bodies are beautiful but obviously people with eds don’t listen to that

does anyone have advice on how i can help
