I'm very glad that I'm a member who just resides at the edge of GDA not too far out, but not at all within the fandom itself either.
These conversations just seem extremely tiring. Sometimes I feel like I'll just have my oc just an oc and partially distant from this "fandom" or whatever...the dessert factor's just fading because of the AUs...
I've already tried on my part on the issues...
I am very glad I got to speak out to a few new people though!
I'll just stay here...ehehehe....I hope to make friends behind the sidelines lmao....no more peeking into the stadium...too hectic...
Actually, why do AUs have to be this so-called word, "official"?
Is this is the problem with people and their own AUs being left out? It apparently has to go through "the system" or whatever to actually spark some kind of "movement". Apparently if it doesn't, then the bandwagon means nothing lmao? Lame, right?
HEY!! If you see someone blog about wanting to start an AU of their own that you'd like to join, then please join!!? Just because they're not a "well-known blog", whatever that means, doesn't mean you can't start up that AU?? I've been seeing comments on people not joining specific, smaller AUs because they were "scared" or "didn't want to bother them" but isn't this whole rp thing about bothering people and becoming their friends? :| Honestly, it's hard for me to initiate conversations so I really do ask that people bother me /////ahaha;;;
On the other hand, even just small "suggestions" from those more-known blogs can start up like, 500 AUs in one post. Really, are you kidding me?
It's really a shame that so many people's ideas got passed over just because they're not a popular blog.

Along with this, with AUs not being "official", people don't feel the inclination to join them every single time. They can join it, start it up, end it, restart it back up again without any damn trouble.
No worries about "this AU ending" or "that AU ending" because??? It's self-governed in the first place??
I think that's what was good about the Survival AU, like obviously a lot of blogs have stopped doing it, but it hasn't died yet and it still holds a place in our hearts unless you've died already but that's really on you because a lot of people are still alive ahaha.
The militar/military au seems like it's gonna end when people are going to end it just because "it's official" and that role masterlist or whatever is obviously going to stop updating at some point as well as member statuses or whatever.

There really should be a control on the Aus in GDA. I mean it’s fun and everything but some people may be bothered or unable to keep up with everyone. More so I feel as if everyone is so focused on the aus that attention is being driven away from blogs who can’t or will not be part of that au for good reasons. It kinda defeats the purpose of an askblog if no asks are received.
I’ve joined this fandom and enjoyed everyone’s presence but since the survival au I don’t see them anymore…
It’s sad to see people I like go not because they personally don’t like the fandom but because no one is willing to give them the time of day because of all these aus…
So can there please be a small restraint on the aus here? Or at least some way for everyone in this fandom to continue enjoying it, regardless of it being an au or not…
one of my really good memories of fabworld was when we all went to the beach or something and there were two rubens, supposedly clocke i think punched one and nem thought it referred to alex so somEHOW ALEX FLEW AWAY OR SOMETHING BUT RLLY IT WAS RUBEN #1 WHO GOT HIT--
