Come one come all, bring wonderful cheer!

In 2026, a new DashCon is near!

But what's this I hear, some struggle to attend?

Worry not, for I have a gracious gift to extend!

The old year's Trials brought many great fun.

The Ferret, the Foggy, the Dotty, they won!

Yet again, the prize is here for thee

Will there be anything time based in the trials? Like, "First 30 people to click this link proceeds" or anything like that? Curious on how often I should stalk this blog

I am discouraged; my joyfulness flees As I must abandon a possible lead

I thought myself smarter than all of the rest But I jumped the gun when put to the test

I heard word of the trials, I thought, "Oh, what fun!" "But others are slacking, they haven't begun!"

A clue, I did see; or I thought so, at least A colon, an O, a parenthesis

I thought, "This must mean something, this symbol I see! But where could it go, and what could it mean?"

As I sat and I wondered about what to do, I remembered the website for DashCon Two

"That's got to be it," I thought, "I've got it down!" So at the end of the link, I added a clown

"www.dashcontwo.com/:o)/"

And right to the clowns, I did go However, what I didn't know Was the parenthesis And the colon did flee, So the website just saw the "o"

When I first saw the clowns, I thought myself elite When in truth, I was just using autocomplete

I discovered my error after quite some time It embarrasses me deeply, even now in rhyme

The lesson to learn, and take it from me, Is the trials are certainly not for the weak

Alas I am too broke to buy tickets to DashCon 2 but maybe this will give me time to stockpile some trinkets to trade next year unless someone would like to generously gift me a pair of tickets
