GODAFFOSS, NAMÁFJALL, KNAPPSTADIR For @lightgreyartgallery’s WANDERLUST exhibition

Based on my experience at the 2016 Iceland residency with Light Grey Art Lab. I wrote about it at the time.

Throughout the residency, as I took in how everyone was engaging with our surroundings, something struck me in regards to my own creative process. As incredible and beautiful as the scenery around me was, it was the people around me that I instinctively ended up drawing. This series is a commentary on that feeling, and how inextricable from each other the people and the scenery were when I reflect back on the incredible experience I had.
