I couldn’t find any meaning in my life when I was out there. I’m sure as hell not going to find it in here. This is the grand finale of a life poorly spent and the end result is just overwhelmingly depressing… It’s just a sick, pathetic, wretched, miserable life story, that’s all it is. How it can help anyone, I’ve no idea.

Can you tell me any weird/unusual facts about about our boy Jeffrey Dahmer? Whenever I read facts or stuff online, it's mostly the same thing over and over again. I know the basics :)
Of course! Here are some facts I personally find especially interesting about Jeff:* He requested subscriptions to: Star, The Advocate, and In Touch magazines while in prison. Can’t let 17 murders keep you from staying current with tabloids/celebrity gossip and gay rights, amirite? * Jeff had his first sexual encounter with a boy that lived across the street from him, when he was 14(ish). It was completely consensual, the boy was around the same age, although the two never had sex.* From everything I’ve read, I believe Dahmer was a virgin until he was in his twenties. There are various inaccuracies in the sources that report Dahmer had actual intercourse with the corpse of Steven Hicks, his first victim, although masturbation (some also say fellatio, but I am not considering that sex) with the body, has been confirmed. (Feel free to correct me, anyone that has a reliable source!)In the Army, it was known that Jeff ‘had never even kissed a girl’ and was notably a virgin - his Army bunkmates took him to a brothel to lose his virginity while stationed in West Germany, and he snuck out. He was also propositioned by a fellow male soldier of higher ranking (my military lingo is trash, sorry) to have sex after some drinking, and Jeff declined, by his own admission. Dahmer left the military in 1981, he would’ve been 21ish at that time.* Jeff did not kill all of his ‘lovers’. He slept around and there were at least two guys he encountered more than once that survived him. He was considered a selfish lover, but also someone that they wanted to ‘baby’.* Jeff wore condoms when having sex with the corpses of his victims. This was used against him in determining whether or not he was sane at his trial, as it shows that he was mindful of STDs and was not simply overcome by his libido. * One time, in his twenties, during a stay at his grandmother’s house (I believe) after a family get together, he had to share a bed with his younger (by six years) brother, David. In a desperate act, Jeff attempted to seduce his brother, and was vehemently denied. * Jeff went through a period of studying the occult, going to church, and then back and forth on his stance with God and religion in his 20’s. Interestingly, both a copy of the King James version of the Bible and a lecture on evolution were both found at his apartment after apprehension. He would later insist on studying this variation of the Bible after converting to Creationism and Christianity, even though his minister used a different text, because he believed it was more accurate.* Jeff was born at 4:34 pm in West Allis, WI on May 21st, 1960. This makes him astrologically a Gemini sun, Libra rising, and an Aries moon. A little bit on that: Gemini are interesting characters, usually witty and clever, even if not extroverted (a common misconception about them). This falls in line with his high school antics, which may have been amplified by his group of friends, but it does say something about his prevalent sense of humor. His rising or ascendant (social mask) is Libra, a sign known for disliking discord and prefers the company of aesthetically pleasing people and things. And without going too much more into this, finally, his moon (emotional propensity) in Aries (which is the opposite of Libra) signifies that he (obviously) had a lot of internal conflict regulating his emotions and aligning them with his thoughts and ideas. Jeffrey Dahmer´s Final Statement
3 weeks after his graduation, in 1978 at the age of 18, Dahmer committed his first murder. On the 6th June, he killed 18-year-old hitchhiker, Steven Mark Hicks.
Like many infamous murderers, Jeffrey Dahmer received hundreds of letters while incarcerated. A large quantity of the letters were requests for macabre souvenirs like a strand of his hair or his autograph which he generally dismissed, as he was always uncomfortable with his notoriety. He also received the typical onslaught of outrage from those disgusted by his crimes and fervent appeals from the religious right for him to repent for his sins. Still, an even larger portion of his mail were letters from “fans,” people who admired what he’d done. Some claimed to have committed murders or expressed desire to do so. Dahmer carefully avoided these, turning over some of the more suspicious letters to police.
Then there were the letters from women and men who declared they were in love with him, which he understood least of all. Minister Roy Ratcliff, who famously baptized the murderer, recalled in his book Dark Journey, Deep Grace one incident when Dahmer complained to him about photographs women had been sending him of themselves in “disgusting poses.” Dahmer told Ratcliff that the photographs, despite being completely unarousing to him as a homosexual, nonetheless carried a sexual charge which stimulated his actual sexual desires and memories of his crimes.

Six months before Jeffrey Dahmer’s death, one of the officers who retrieved his confession visited the Columbia Correctional Institution where he was being held to obtain information about a homicide from another inmate. Detective Dennis Murphy then decided that he may as well stop by Dahmer’s cell to see how his most infamous charge was doing. Dahmer was very pleased to see him, reaching out to shake his hand and calling out, “Hi, Dennis!” Immediately upon seeing him, Murphy noted the drastic changes that prison life had brought out in him. For one, the once fit and fastidious Dahmer had gained thirty pounds and grown a thick beard. He also, according to Murphy’s standards, appeared to act more effeminate and flamboyantly gay than he had when they’d previously interacted, giving a limp handshake and speaking with a slight lisp. This latter observation could probably be attributed to Murphy’s personal bias towards gay men and knowledge of Dahmer’s sexual orientation coloring his perception, however.
The two chatted for a bit about various topics. Dahmer told Murphy that he’d asked to be taken out of solitary confinement because it was “driving him crazy.” He then made an ominous statement: “I know once I get in the general population, I’ll be killed.” Still, he explained, he would rather risk his life than remain cooped up and isolated from other people. Just a few months later, his prediction was proven right, and he was murdered by inmate Christopher Scarver.
Ronald Flowers was one of the few people who narrowly escaped Jeffrey Dahmer. On Easter weekend of 1988, he drove from his home in Racine, Wisconsin to Milwaukee to meet some friends at the 219 Club. The group had a good time. However, once his friends had gone, Flowers discovered that his car wouldn’t start. Frantically, he began making calls from a payphone outside the club to get someone to rescue him. His luck seemed to take a turn when Jeffrey Dahmer approached, concerned and offering aid. After Flowers informed him of his predicament, Dahmer immediately suggested sharing a cab to his house, where they could retrieve his car and bring it back to jumpstart the other car. Flowers gratefully accepted.
In the taxi, Flowers found Dahmer to be a rather morose and depressing figure. Conversation was awkward because Dahmer kept dropping eye contact and talked gloomily about such things as how he hated his work and did not get along with his family.
Dahmer had the taxi drop them off two blocks away from the house, which first triggered Flowers’ suspicion. Flowers grew more suspicious when he did not see the car that Dahmer had claimed to have in the driveway of the residence. When the two entered the house, a woman’s voice called from upstairs, “Is that you, Jeff?” “Yes, Grandma,” Dahmer replied. “I’m just going to make myself a cup of coffee.” Flowers quickly declared that he had no time for coffee, but Dahmer insisted, reminding him about the favor that he was about to do for him. Eventually, Flowers relented, if only to get out of there faster. He noted with increasing anxiety the strangeness of Dahmer’s behavior: the man was shaking visibly, and he would not let him see what he was doing as he made the coffee. Then, Dahmer handed him his cup, looking him straight in the eye; it was the only time he had held eye contact since the two met. Wanting more than ever to leave, Flowers drank the coffee until he started to feel dizzy. He soon passed out.
Flowers woke up two days later in the hospital. There were peculiar bruise marks around his neck, and his underwear was inside out. He would later learn that his life had been spared only because Dahmer’s grandmother had caught sight of her shirtless grandson leaning over Flowers’ unconscious body, intending to strangle him.
Maybe I started shutting down to save myself the pain of what was going on. It was effective; it worked. Ever since then I’ve never been a real emotional person.

He said: ‘A blanket would settle over me and I’d get this very horrible feeling of loss’. His last victim told me that when he left, Jeffrey was in the bedroom, he was rocking and he was chanting and seemed to be in some sort of super state. When this young man came back, several hours later with the police, Jeffrey hadn’t budged he was doing the same thing.”
