Cannot Argue about Hooking Up by Fate on Passfeed
The college life as we know it can be deemed fun only if you are getting so much of the fun. It can get quite boring fast if you are an outgoing person. Most of the time you will find yourself being alone when your friends are going out to the parties and hooking up. All you will have to do is to listen to their fun stories and wish you were there. Not all college students are into parties and drinking, some are just laid back and they need to find other ways to have some fun too. In short, such people are me and a few of my other friends. Personally, I was great at checking out what was trending online all the time. One day, I came across a trend that was all about an app called Passfeed. It got me interested as it featured connecting with people from around your area and far beyond.
Even people who are socially awkward always find it easy to interact with other people through apps. Just imagine the rise of social apps since the invention of MySpace and Facebook. Apps such as Passfeed are aimed at helping people to gain confidence when it comes to talking to other people because there is no face to face talk time. Within the first week of joining Passfeed, I could easily see that I was connecting with many people from my friends and other parts of the world too. Most of the time I would simply connect with people that I did share common interests. I still got a number of guys hitting on me when still using Passfeed. I was still naïve and scared to actually meet them offline for coffee or something more. I always imagined that what if he ends up not being the person I was expecting.
One day all this changed when I made a certain post on Passfeed. I had posted about having a movie ticket to a great movie and I was going alone. Coincidentally, one of my friends still on Passfeed had done the same but earlier. It was one of our friends that connected us to see the two same posts. This was onto something; we were both looking to have some fun time and did not have someone do it with. Since we were in the same location, we decided to meet up for the movie. We all ended up having some great time that night and ended up in a hookup. Do not call me a slut just yet.
I know about the college hookup culture where a person is not supposed to get attached in the end. However, our story was different, we hooked up first before we could start dating. I never imagined that people could still date after drunk sex. At least now, I had some war stories to trade whenever people could now tell stories. After meeting on Passfeed, I am still dating the same guy and every day is just an adventure for me.
