Like in a world where most peoppe have fur or feathers there is alot more advanced anti flea/tick/lice solutions, mostly shots to prevent local fleas from even wanting to get near you.but they travel ALL over the world, visiting random islands. Theyre BOUND to get some kind of flea theyre not immune to at LEAST ONCE

when he first got the fleas he had to take a flea bath with a ridiculous amount of anti flea shampoo and then they had to let the shampoo sit there while he was wrapped in plastic rap
Tweak went up to get some lunch thinking it was a normal day before she saw that and IMMEDIATLY locked herself in the launch
Growing up in the everglades means ur bound to get some kind of flea or tick at least once or twice even if u have ur shots.
And even if Marsh, raising Tweak, wouldve used anti flea shampoo he still wouldve done a bunch of other " old fashioned" BULLSHIT rememdies rhat were AWFUL.
So needless to say Tweak is basically using the launch bay as a locked bunker and they cant even go on missions cuz shes convinced theyll get her infested. Which is fair but like Inkling had to talk her down to letting them go down there as long as they stayed on the other side of the launchbay away from her room 😭
