There was no telling what the reaction that would come of her reaction. He knew Natasha. He knew that there was no telling what she would do upon seeing his face. It was one of the things that Loki adored about her. There were few people that he could not read. She was unpredictable most of the time, and though it would annoy him with others, it was endearing with her. She was the light in his ever dark life. It did not matter if he had turned over a new leaf, she was the reason behind it all.
The King of Asgard gazed at her, taking everything in. By Odin, she was so beautiful. He was still, green orbs cautious, everything cautious. That was until he felt familiar arms wrapping around him, and all of the emotions he was feeling at that moment seemed to collide all at once. Natasha—she was here. She was okay.
Arms circled round his little spider, lifting her up. Loki was mindful of what little room they had in the small corridor, so he too a step into the apartment with her still in his arms, a smile forming as he spun her around. It was cliche and utterly mortal, but he didn’t care. It was his spider.
Her grip was tight, unintentional of course but it was almost in the back of the spiders mind she didn’t want him to leave again. Too many people had walked away or been taken from her - Loki wouldn’t be one, she wouldn’t let him. Weight shifted as she was pulled from her feet, legs instinctively wrapping around him for support.
"How nice it is to be graced with your presence. ” The spider teased with a smile, green orbs finally brought up to meet his. .
Still she remained silent, in her books actions spoke loud than words and that’s exactly what she did. Without a second thought her arms had wrapped themselves around his stomach, head buried in his chest.
