Davekat Week 2020!

Welcome to Davekat Week 2020!

Because of the lack of a ship week the year of 2019 and a burning passion for Davekat and a desire for the week to be continued, we are a team who have decided to organize our own Davekat week, and we hope there’s many of you out there who will jump on the train and make your own content for this special time of year.

Davekat Week 2020 will take place between August 3rd and August 9th. Each day will have two prompts to choose from, but remember that those are just ideas and you can do something completely different too if inspiration strikes.

Art, fanfictions, moodboards, podfics, cosplays and fanvideos are examples of what is accepted to submit to the ship week. If you find yourself wanting to create something else, that is totally fine too!

Day 1: Earth / Alternia

Day 2: Romcoms / Music

Day 3: Trollhood / Humanity

Day 4: Customs and traditions / Seasons

Day 5: Day / Night

Day 6: Alternate Universe (examples, coffee shop au, mermaid au) / Alternate Timeline (examples, the doomed timeline, a timeline with godtier Karkat)

Day 7: Free Day

Once the week arrive, you can submit your works to either Tumblr or the Davekat Week collection on Archive of our own, or in both places if you want.

On Tumblr, make sure to tag it as #Davekatweek and #Davekatweek2020 unless you submit it directly to the blog.
