Hello followers, this is just a little blog about the documentary I'm doing about everybody else doing their projects, so this is my project :)

Last Week and the Weeks Beyond!

This last week has been a very unproductive week, no one has been doing anything for me to film.  However, I have been able to plan what new interviews I'm going to take over the next week, read over "How Google Works", and think about what I need to do like interviews and filming activities. Things I need to improve on : I need to be more active in getting things from people, this week was the week after Fall Break so I didn't have much gumption, I also need to plan out what I'm going to do, because no matter how much thinking went into my planning I did not write anything down which I am going to have to do either this weekend or next week, and finally I need to pressure people to do things more because no one is doing anything and that is affecting me.

This month, I want to :

1. Film Sergio's and Nick's Rocket actually flying

2. Interviews for more people, even me!

3. Film something with Lucy

4. Put together something with the footage

5. Get date to film people (Sawyer, Lauren, J.T.)

Here was my last escapade with the camera, Nick and Sergio made the fuel and tried to launch the rocket but it was too heavy and never got off of the ground, since then, no one has been very active.  This December I'll be attempting to edit some of the rocket footage, taking more, and maybe filming anyone else who contacts me.

Progress

Since I talked to you last I've filmed Sergio and Nick shooting off their rocket, and the week is the last week I have with fall theatre and fall break is next week, I might film Lucy launching another weather balloon today

Capstone Success!

Yay!  I got video of Lucy launching her weather balloon into the sky!  Hopefully today I'll be able to film Nick and Sergio launch their rocket today.  In the next week I'll be covered up with Blythe Spirit and since this is the final week of the first quarter, I have that to deal with too,  I'm still on schedule and I haven't missed anything yet.  I realized however that I may have to start buying disks to film with.  Hopefully I have enough in storage, so far I haven't even used up one so fingers crossed.

A little sidetracked...

So, Lucy's sick today so no filming that... in other news I start my part time job today so that means I'll have something to work around.  After next week at least my weekdays will be free.  We turned in our Death of a Father 2.0 today, I learned a lot about editing from this which is awesome because now I know something about it.  Friday's still on with Nick and Sergio.

Sergio and Nick's (and George's) Rocket Cap Interview

Since I blogged last I took a video of Lucy attempting to launch her phone into the lower atmosphere.  I took some interviews from the guys about what they were doing and what pitfalls they had.  My Blythe Spirit work starts this week, so that means a lot more work on my plate.

Hello Again, It's Me

So this last week I've been planning out my schedule.  I now know that Sergio and Nick's first launch is going to be on the Weekend of October 11th.  I'm excited to get started filming, I need to get something from the Rocket Cap guys, whether it be an interview, some stills of their rocket, or something.  I'm going to be busy on October 17th to help the lower school and October 15th I'll be taking PSAT which might or might not be a problem considering I have Blythe Spirit Crunch Week.  On October 30th and 31st I'll be helping my schoolmates make a box maze, so that'll be interesting.  I'll try to take some film and interviews of George this Thursday.

Capstone's Starting!

Last weekend I had the chance to participate in a film, last weekend I was called back for more shots.  Now that I'm done I'm ready to start my own movie.  Today I'm handing out release forms to everyone, just to make it a little bit more official.  I'm getting my first shots this Thursday, they're just going to be classroom shots so they might be boring/not fit to use in the final cut, but who knows?
