- Born and raised in Springhill
- Her father left them when she was 7. Davina had been at school all day, but when her father didn’t show to pick her up from school, her mother came and told her what had happened. Her mother was just as crushed as Davina and slowly spiraled.
-As she grew up, her mom became abusive due to alcohol and drugs and such. She would go out most nights, leaving Davina alone with this babysitter or that. On the nights she was home, she was zoned out on the couch. If Davina tried to help, it often lead to fights (more so verbal rather than physical, but those did happen, too. Davina found it hard to fight back--what kid wanted to hit their mother?)
-It eventually got so bad that Davina’s paternal grandmother stepped in and moved to Springhill, receiving custody over Davina by the time she entered HS.
-Davina cut ties with her mother and doesn’t speak to her at all. Her mother no longer lives in Springhill.
-When she turned 16, she became a waitress. At 18, she added being a bar back--learning the ropes of bartending quickly. At 19 she became a full time bartender and still works as one.
-Davina’s pretty laid back and chill. She loves a good time. She tends to be super supportive and will always give someone a helping hand. She doesn’t talk about her past often--finding it a touchy subject.
-She highkey has trust issues though, so she’s never really gotten super close with anyone in the romantic sense although she’s definitely a hopeless romantic.
-If she’s not behind the bar, you can catch her out at the skatepark either skating or just hanging out. She also loves art and dabbles in it, so she occasionally has paint stains on her hands and legs.
