Neville nodded fervently, agreeing it sounded like a good idea. Hopefully, he wouldn't forget. "I'll have to go grab my tablet, that way I won't forget. Unless.. I don't 'spose you have yours on you, do ya? I might have to take a video, he's quite slippery, you see. He doesn't like to sit still." At her questions, he took a moment, frowning in thought. "Belongings... not really. I do have a tank for 'im though, it's got a water dish and lots of mulch and that, 'cause he really likes diggin'. I went to feed him his crickets this mornin' and that's when I realised he'd got out. Will that help? For the spell?"

He blinked at her reply, equally pleased and shocked, until she questioned him. Instantly, he felt mortified. "What? No. No! 'Course not. Well, I mean - kinda, I 'spose," he gulped. "I mean, I never saw you 'round Hogwarts, is what I mean. You.. didn't go there? Are you from Alicante?"

"I do have mine," Davina confirmed, patting the handbag that rested over her shoulder. "But we're going to need to head to yours anyway to collect Trevor's belongings, if that's where they are. I think the tank will be too big to place over a map of Alexandria, but the dirt and the dish might work. It's worth a shot." It was certainly a test of her abilities, anyway, practice towards progress.

At first, Davina's eyes were alight with the mention of Hogwarts, despite her envy. She'd have loved to have grown up with witches, even if their magic differed from hers. It would've spared her of the loneliness and the isolation that'd come from being holed away in Marcel's attic, and she could've learned so much about their world. However, the questions that'd sprung to mind were soon silenced at the mention of Alicante, and Davina visibly froze, discomforted. Yes, she'd been born there. It was also the place she would've lost her life, had Marcel not intervened before the elders had finished the Harvest. She had ancient magic in her blood, and they'd been desperate to draw from it to enhance their own power. She wondered if Neville was aware of their greed, of how it knew no boundaries, not even when it came to children.

Marcel had warned her that not everyone in Alexandria could be trusted, that some of them would originate from Alicante. He'd told her to lie, to never reveal her last name, to avoid the fellow magicians in town. She'd evidently already broken that rule by offering to perform a tracking spell, and although she felt as though Neville could be trusted with her truth, she couldn't take the risk. Not yet. Not when Marcel was willing to whisk her away again at a moment's notice should he find out. So, she bit her tongue, and forced a smile, shaking her head in denial. "No, and I've never been to either. I was born in Two. I didn't even know I had access to magic until a few years ago, so I'm still playing catch up." Still, curiosity was a burden, and she couldn't help pursuing answers. "What was Hogwarts like?"
