And that’s a second squad of Kasrkin built. More of a straight build, whereas my first squad includes the specialists intended for Killteam, this lot is pure gunnery with 2 Plasmaguns and 2 Grenade Launchers. Bashed together a Mortar squad for the Imperial Guard, mixing parts from the Heavy Weapon Squad, Cadian Shocktroops, Cadian Command Squad plus the Cadian upgrade sprues. Kinda fun to be honest. Also took one of the crouching bodies from the Upgrade sprue along with a head and built a nifty looking laswoman. Yeah, the Cadian Castellan kit makes a much more imposing looking Commissar than the new Commissar kit. I think it’s all down to the fact that the Castellan has a sash 😜 Also finally got around to building the limited edition @victoriaminiatures Inquisitor from Adepticon 2020. I don’t know who it is at Hasbro/Takara that has such a love for the Japanese-exclusive Transformers shows, but I love that it means we are getting mainline releases of characters like Leo Convoy and - pictured here - Metalhawk. Fun and games with some of Reptillian Overlords excellent SpaceNam range. I’d initially just planned to build one of the Sgt Major Meatgrinder load outs, maybe some heavy weapon teams for the two squads awaiting them, it I figured he’ll, let’s bash together a full Command Squad for him. End result is a mix of 3D prints, plastic SpaceNam, and parts from GWs Catachan range. Annoyingly I couldn’t complete the squad as I can’t find the banner I know I had left over from the Catachan Command Squad kit.
