I find Tumblr a little frustrating in that the order of text and photos is not possible to display as I would like so I have started another blog.

Lovely autumn walk through crunchy leaves 🍁
Adventures in Babbacombe ....first a lovely rainbow 🌈....then I discovered an arch, just had to go through.....oooh where did it lead? ......down lots of steps, and what goes down must surely have to go back up! So didn’t make it to the Cove at the bottom this time, maybe next time all being well, quite a workout walking back up, noticed “Old Man’s Beard” out in full glory, rounded off with half a lager at Babbacombe Hotel 😊
Moonrise over Torquay
Clear blue skies in the beautiful Port if Brixham <3
We went to Antony - home if the Carew family, they still live there even though it’s National Trust
There’s something a wee bit sad and desolate about the tin mines ....

One of my favourite poets is John T. Barber who lived in fish Street in St Ives. I visited him at this place about 1993 just before he died, I really enjoy reading his poetry because it tells a story and I can understand it
Enjoyed some St Ives gin and tapas, very nice 👍
Like most of Cornwall St Ives has a rich Christian heritage with many churches of different denominations all in close proximity!
Here is the theatre!!
Like a lot of Cornish fishing villages it had quirky small streets, I love them
We visited my most favourite place in Cornwall - St Ives
We stayed at Looe for a few days, very nice little place though not much there
For Don’s birthday we actually had a meal where I work as Resident Pianist - really lovely to be a guest and sample the food and fabulous entertainment from my colleagues - enjoyed some dancing in the cabaret
Went for a swim yesterday - in October! I had Ladybird Cove all to myself again, sea was a bit cooler than last week but still bearable - the sea was crystal clear too, could see right to the bottom.
