So Woolie & Liam started playing Freedom Planet, right? Woolie dragged me by the hood my hoodie and told (asked) me to draw this.

Decided to take the extra step and have two versions of it also, to double down on my double-dipping. Two for the price of one, and what not.

Yeah, you wanna run up that wall and then over the flipping girders. You wanna make sure that the girders are flipped left or you’ll fall to your death. Do a double jump; make sure you spin boost up that wall. Watch out for the laser turret, it might destroy the ground you’re workin’ on, but you’re fine, just keep movin’. There’s a lottery thing on the way for a fortune cookie, get the fortune cookie, if you’re feelin’ up to it, Lou, you can have that too. Run on the snake back, the Chinese Dragon back, break the street light, pop open that plant, get some lives, keep runnin’ tho; the robots are comin’ behind you. Don’t let the secret police find you, because they will. Now you’re gonna be halfway there, right? Now the spotlights are gonna try to find you. There’s a pyramid of gems on that roof, right? Land on the pyramid of gems, bounce back up, go up the elevator, break through that enemy, boost forward, and then you’re there!

Yesterday, the world lost an amazingly talented artist. Monty Oum, creator of RWBY and Dead Fantasy, animator of RvB, and distinguished member of Rooster Teeth, passed away at the age of 33. Only having met him once, I did not know Monty well. However, the people who were close to him spoke volumes of his determination, skills, and compassion for the productions he drove. They talked of him as anartist, yes, but also a dear friend to his loved ones. To the Rooster Teeth crew and community, Monty was family. I met Monty at PAX East last year. My cousin Bernie introduced me to his earlier animated series, Dead Fantasy, back in 2007. Monty's work had improved drastically since then -- I didn't realize he'd done the mo-cap work for so many of the fight scenes in RWBY. I remember buying Vol. 1 on the spot and asking for his signature while shaking in trembling awe and sobering respect. Monty was kind and welcoming to his fans. He was also extremely diligent in his work, keeping positive while tweeting his progress in the wee hours of the morning, regardless of how much (or how little) caffeine he had. I can't pretend that I knew him, but given how passionate he was, I believe Monty loved being able to do what he loved for a living. He achieved what so many of us aspire to be. For that, he inspired artists like myself to keep practicing, keep creating, and keep doing what makes us happy. Rest in peace, Monty Oum. Thank you so much.

I drew Hulk from The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes for the first time ever! I also had the honor of Frank Paur (EMH’s supervising director) acknowledging it on Facebook.

One way to turn me into an awkward lump of lukewarm rice pudding: work on something with Hulk in it and talk to me.EMH!Hulk is my favorite out of all the animated Hulks, hands down. I hope I did him justice!
