So, I ffelt the neeed to clarify why I have been missing so much.

Firstly, work has me up to the knees, I am a veterinary assistant and I work eight hours -sometimes more, six days of the week. So, pretty much I have six hours of my own,  Secondly, I had a little bit of an accident at home with my dogs, -I have seven- they got into a fight and in trying to protect the little ones I got bitten on the hand. I did suffer a minor infection due to the wounds not being taken care of properly by the doctor, but I am all well now. Bless home therapy! That brings me to my third point, I’ve been having phone issues and I had been having trouble trying to post anything. Hopefully by today I’ll be getting a new one. That means that by the end of the day I’ll have Dawon

Her hair was up, tied in a bun while a fluffy headband kept the stray hairs away from her cheeks and forehead. The scent of Elizabeth Arden’s ‘red door’ -a gift from a fan- lingers on her pulse points, the skin warm and glittery. The incline of her bones and the dip of muscle cast shadows along her form in the low light, breath twanged with the scent of sweet wine. Lashes are flickering low, intoxicated but in a dream of the drunken that encompasses an almost dreamy state. Shoes had been kicked off long ago, her lilac painted toes resting lightly on the yellow mat. Dressed in pajamas, she was sitting at one end of the balcony, an empty glass in her hand and a bottle of wine resting on a table beside her.

“Say, do you ever sit up late at night, and just stare at nothing in particular out the window? Just thinking about everything. About what you felt when you were five years old, and then compare that to how you feel now?” She asks, her legs dangling from the edge of the balcony, elbow propped on one of the rails and her palm holding the delicate point of her chin. Her eyes flicker across the moving world under her.

“It is almost upsetting, don’t you think? To think about how all the innocence you once had is gone now. You are no longer filled of pure and amazing wonder, for you have now morphed into a completely different person. A person who has to hide their fears, their desires, their sins and their struggles in order to survive. In other to live.”

Dawon sighs softly, looking back at the now sleeping dog behind her, its nose twitching as if in response.

“Sometimes it hits me just like that. One moment I am doing something, or I am in the middle of a dance practice, and the next second I can feel my heart twisting for something that happened three, two.. one year ago. It is scary I think, how fragile we can be and I begin to wonder if maybe, just maybe, I am too sensitive, too afraid for my own good.”

There is a soft scent of perfume floating around; the room warm from a previous blow-dryer and Dawon’s hair is gathered up into small, plastic, gray rollers. Seated at the vanity, phone clutched in one palm and her free hand folded neatly in her lap the girl sits wrapped in a white robe, waiting for her cold perm process to be over.

“So," she starts, voice slightly up-beat. Her eyes remain on the phone screen, reading over a message she rather not reply to. "I heard you landed a spot on KBG's Party People.” Her words are directed to the male that sits on a loveseat behind her.

Their meeting was a mere coincidence. Just the day before her manager had scheduled this appointment in light of her Guerilla Date shooting. The word around was that the salon had at first declined to accept an appointment at such short notice, but upon knowing who the client was, they had no other choice but to free up some time. This is what people often described as "the privileges of being an idol."

Papillon, as he was more often referred to, was no stranger to her. In the contrary, she had known him for some time now . They were from the same agency and often crossed paths in the hallways, in reunions and other events. At one point they shot a cf together. Even so, it always came as a pleasant surprise to see him outside of their usual common grounds.

Hello everyone. Happy New Year to all! Finally the holidays are over and I am free again! Imma get back on track and -try- to rp like a decent human being.

“You’d better be looking at me like that because you’re happy to see me again, darling, and not because I am drinking alone on a weekend—” Breath laced with red wine, perfume clung to the slight sheen of perspiration that sparkled across the top of exposed shoulders - dusted with glitter, a shimmering short dress clung to her body.

“But then again, you’re in this club too — rough week?” She asks with a hint of a smile.

When she was a trainee, there were countless times that the stress was so much that it felt like she was carrying lead in her blood; heavy, thick and barren. A stress that made her shoulders ache, her back twinge; her inspiration dry up, at that time crying was her release— but now, clubbing seemed the perfect remedy. Sweaty bars, basement clubs with pounding music, girls dressed in short dresses, and guys in white shirts and black pants. You left your identity at the door, and became whatever you wanted to be the minute you stepped onto the dance floor; and she breathed for that release. Under a broken disco-ball missing segments of its mirrored tiles, life became beautiful in the lyrics of cheesy songs, and the glimpses of silence as the dj switched their turntable; one became a soul amongst souls, and life was good.

Sometimes the idol life had a way of swallowing her up, in an industry full of so many people with so many dreams - it was too easy to feel like she was drowning, clawing at a hole that was quickly caving in around her.

Tonight? She needed air.

Hello! How’s it going?? I am Eva, and it’s an absolute pleasure to meet all of you. I am a tad bit late to the welcome party —curse adulting— but even so, I am more than ready to bring Dawon to life.
