October 26, 2007. The day that changed my life forever and I didn't see it coming. A day that had no significant meaning the day or year before. It seems so simple looking back on it. You just agreed to be my girlfriend. A deal many people our age were making, but this felt different. You were different. The universe forced us to meet. You were just another face in the crowd... until you weren't. Had it not been for that (insane) bus driver, you and I would still be strangers. We'd be completely different people right now. But the reality is that we did meet. I still remember that bizarre feeling i had in my gut whenever I was around you. You were so different from anyone I had ever met before. Granted, I was 13, but still. This is the feeling you give most everyone you meet and I know you're modest about it, but that's a very rare trait to find in someone. Someone who leaves a lasting impression on everyone they meet. Just the other you saw me audition for the first time and after I was done they asked YOU to audition! That doesn't just happen to anyone. You have this special light about you and I get to bask in it everyday. From the outside looking in, people see the number of years we have together and ask "How? How do you make it work?". The thing is though, we don't "make" anything work. It just works. We've caught lightning in a bottle. We've got 9 years under our belt and that seems like a lot, but we know it's just the beginning. We have so much life left to live, so many more dreams to achieve, and many more challenges to conquer. So as we dive headfirst into the unknown, one thing is certain. As long as you're holding my hand, no matter what lies on the other side, I've already won. My happiness is solidified. I love you with everything I can muster. My best friend. My rock.
