not my race, not my culture, not my people and i have never been oppressed. but we share the same world, share the same feelings and emotions, our bodies aren’t any different from each other besides the color of our skin. this short clip made me tear up. we want the world to move forward, yet we STILL can’t accept one another because of the COLOR of someone’s SKIN. the COLOR of someone’s damn SKIN. how much longer does the black community need to fear for their lives every second of every day? how much longer does the black community need to receive such hatred yet their culture is loved and stolen from them right before their eyes? how much longer does the black community need to watch, read and hear how another one of their people were killed because of the color of their skin? and there is so much more than just that they have to go through on the daily. black lives fucking MATTER. they ALWAYS have, and they ALWAYS will.
