This is a blog to write all my hyperfixations. Anyone and everyone is welcome, regardless of age/gender/sexuality. Just mind your manners & stay respectful!
I've started cross-posting my works on AO3, you can find me over yonder under MonochromeDaydreams.
âIMPORTANT FAQS BELOWâ
I will write F!Reader|M!Reader|GN!Reader. Unless otherwise stated in the fic, the default is GN!Reader. But it will always be Reader, always be 'you' and 'y/n', and never named.
I have a tag list, so just hmu if you want to be on it. If you only want to be tagged for specific fics (aka: only fics for certain fandoms, certain characters, etc etc) then let me know.
Do:
Tell me who you want me to write (EX: specify if its xyz character x reader), and the scenario you want written. You can be as detailed in your request as you want, so long as you make yourself clear.
Be Patient & Understanding that I have a full time job & other responsibilities/hobbies. How fast I get through request depends on the total number of requests I received and Time I Have Available to write. So it may take a while to get through all the requests. I wonât always answer every ask I get, or respond to everything quickly.
Respect that not every request will be written. Reasons can vary, but understand that there is no promise that it will be written. I am a person, not a content machine. You are welcome to resubmit during the next request phase if yours didnât get written, but please respect that I am doing this for free because it is fun.
Don't:
Send Smut Requests. Though this might change in the future, but I am not writing smut fics. I'll will do spicier hcs, however, but I wonât write smut.
Spam. While I understand tumblr can glitch, please don't spam the inbox. It takes longer for me to answer everything when you do so.
Send Requests When I'm Not Taking Requests. If the above title for this post says "Requests are Closed" then requests that get sent in during that period will be deleted. [This does not apply to general asks that would fall under the âAdrianâs Notesâ tag.]
Bash characters/ships. I understand everyone is entitled to different opinions on different characters, but we do not do bashing here. All ships are welcome on this blog, if not for writing then at least for discussion. I have a zero tolerance for character and ship hate. I donât care what your reasons are, do not bring fandom drama to this blog. Doesnât matter what the character/ship is; trying to bring hate onto my blog will get you blocked. You donât have to like a ship to behave respectfully/maturely about it.
Please understand that I will not write [non-conâbe it explicit, or impliedâincest, explicit abuse] i understand that content appeals to some in fics, but itâs not my cup of tea to write.
I will write: [angst, character deaths, yanderes, possessive/obsessive behaviors, omegaverse,] when it comes to darker themes along with the usual fluff and comedy.
[Dub-con] is on a case-by-case basis.
Ships will write for:
Keep in mind these may be subject to change over time with additions and removals. My interests are ever in flux
You think you could give us a sneak peek, I would love to see what your working on
Rumi was not staring. She was absolutely not staring. And if she were staring, in this hypothetical situation, it was purely for observational purposes, and nothing else!
Observing, looking, watching. Waiting for you to slip up. To say something, do something, let just a little bit of skin in the wrong spot to show, revealing the patterns Rumi knew you had no matter how much you kept pretending not to be a demon.
The eyebrow wiggles and side-eye glances Mira and Zoey were giving her meant nothing, because she was not staring at you.
to stop the girls from spending a lot of money, reader will guilt trip them by mentioning how much money they keep spending they'll have to go on more tours, more concerts just to earn it all back which wouldn't be that much for the girls until reader mentions that that means less time for dates, cuddles or anything romantic the more they go on tour. maybe they figure it's a ploy maybe they don't. is it evil? maybe but anything to get them be a little more financially responsible
Hitting them with the subtle threat of less quality time together to make up for all the money spent on them. Thatâs gonna make them pull back on the spending habits fast.
In that scenario of MB and the baby both dying to a demon, I think Celine would kill herself. If she only lost one of them, yeah Celine would be destroyed but she would have a reason to keep going either in MB or the baby. Losing both would be a killing blow, especially since she essentially lost Rumi as well since Rumi wouldn't forgive Celine.
It would also be interesting to see how the Honmoon would react to that scenario cause all of it's hunters are suffering from the grief of losing what was essentially their mom and their unborn sibling. In a similar vein of Rumi resenting the Honmoon if MB died while the baby lived, Rumi and Celine would probably resent it too blaming it for not being strong enough to keep MB safe.
That would truly be The darkest timeline.
Man why must you guys make Celine suffer.
Honmoon is gonna start falling apart, the girls donât have the harmony to maintain it anymore, nor to work as cohesively together against the demons. And if Celine does die too, even though Rumi blamed her for what happened, you just know that's sending our girl spiraling even further. Sending all of them spiraling.
You're right. Absolutely one of the darkest timelines.
I like to think Sick bf and Rumi would have movie nights when they were kids. I think they would watch some Star Wars movies because he might not be Nerdy Bf, but he has some nerdy qualities.
One night when they're watching Empire Strikes Back, when Darth Vader reveals he's Luke's father, Sick bf says something like "I can't imagine being in Luke's situation, knowing your Dad is one of the monsters that hurts you and so many others." and Rumi is just sitting there like 'yeah can only imagine having a Dad like that.'
That awkward moment when whatâs supposed to be a fun movie night ends up hitting a little too close to home with your personal trauma.
But thinking about it, Rumi probably resonated with Luke a lot, especially after he learns who Vader is.
"He's bringing back half a pharmacy worth of medicine because he doesn't know which one you'll need but he's sure one of them will make you feel better."
The idea of Jinu just standing there staring at a pile of medicine trying to figure out which one will be the right one for his girlfriend will never not be funny to me. Because he's looking at each one weighing the pros and cons because the thought of giving reader the wrong medicine would make him feel awful. After all you already look so miserable he doesn't want to add onto it, he only wants to help you.
The funniest thing is that, despite all his picking he gives reader a medicine their body does not react well to and now their feeling a little bit worse, however Jinu makes them some tea and it makes them feel better. To the point where their actually able to get up and walk to Jinu while he's making it to thank him. Reader hugging him definitely doesn't help all the warm and fuzzy feelings he's feeling inside, but he's so happy that their feeling better and that he helped even if there were some set backs.
But you're right, readers going to have to be with Jinu at all times to avoid him getting lost in a supermarket or just a mall because he will be stuck there for hours after getting held up by a random vendor.
Jinu is gonna feel so terrible when the medicine he picks makes you feel worse. Like, full on panic, because what did he do wrong??? He's a musician, not an apothecarist! Probably worried you're going to die. Is contemplating the benefits vs the risks of calling Rumi for help. Doesn't calm back down until you tell him you're feeling better.
Kinda now wanna write some silly Reader/Jinu fluff now.
ADHD is evil and I have made no progress on Blood in My Veins because ended up hyperfixating on Marvel's Midnight Suns and writing eighty chapters of a fic with that game's depiction of Wanda Maximoff that will never see the light of day. I am the king of ADHD, it seems - deficient in one project but hyper in another.
This part one, I didn't want this to be too long that someone would have to scroll forever to get to the next post. Part two shall be soon.
I just want you to know that I kissed the brick first before I threw it. Here you go:
"Why didn't you tell me?"
Rumi didn't register that you had spoken, not immediately. She was too captured by the heartbreak of seeing you again after Namsaan Tower, your silhouette only illuminated by the overcast moonlight and the dim glow of the patterns that had taken over your entire body.
You were sat in the darkest corner of the rooftop, knees to your chest, your arms clutched to them tightly in an attempt to make yourself smaller, and your face hidden in your thighs. Your clothes had long since been rendered into tatters after a month, torn and ripped both by claws and the demonic mutations of your own body, leaving the writhing lights of your inherited sin to dance freely across your skin like light beams through water.
They were the same clothes you were wearing the morning of the day you disappeared, Rumi noted, just now stained with blood and riddled with filth where they had not been destroyed. Yet, despite their state, they preserved your modesty with what little remained - because you had gotten so thin that they were as though they were a larger size. The realization put a hole in her heart.
You were stuck living with the aftermath of the last day you were free.
She should've said something, should have answered your question rather than leave you to shrink under the weight of her silence, but Rumi failed to.
Everything she needed to say, any comfort, any love she should have brought you, died the moment she saw your destruction. Your soul had been ripped apart, laid bare and torn asunder by the Demon King and his manipulations, your body warping under the weight of your heritage, and she thought herself prepared to see it? Thought that she alone could pull you back from the bottom of the abyss?
So stupid. So arrogant.
Nothing could have prepared her for this. Yet she had to try.
"I wanted to." Rumi whispered, the words raw in her throat with a whirlwind of emotion, the grief in them tearing her apart from the inside despite her need to be strong for you. "I've wanted to tell you for years."
Rumi wasn't prepared for you to lift your head to look at her, your pupils diamond-shaped and golden but the sclera clearing the ink that drowned them as you looked at her to continue.
Progress. She was making progress. More than she thought she could, more than she thought she deserved.
"But Celine said that I had to hide them," she continued, bravery blooming under your gaze as she slowly stepped closer. "Told me that these marks, these patterns, are ones of shame that had to be hidden because people wouldn't understand. That you or Mira or Zoey wouldn't understand. That I would be attacked if my secret ever got out."
You stood to meet her, your stance shaking as you tried to stand on legs that had been morphed into the shape of an animal's hindlegs and feet that had been gnarled and deformed into paws tipped with bronze claws. Yet you slowly, hesitantly, walked toward her, and all of Rumi's restraint faded as she rushed to meet you in the middle.
Despite the desire to hold you, the burning need to have you in her arms again, she managed to halt herself before she pushed too far when she just barely got you off the ledge.
"And you thought that being born with them made you a monster, too?" You asked, trying your best to not look into her eyes now that you were standing in front of the first girl who was your everything.
Rumi nodded, the corners of her eyes blurring with tears as she reached for you. She needed to know that this was real, that you were real and that this wasn't a dream.
She needed you.
You shuddered under her touch, shaking at the warmth just her hand over your chest brought you. You had been so cold, so touch-starved and desperate for warmth, for so long that it nearly brought you to your knees.
"I know what it's like." You whispered, your hand hovering over hers before committing to placing it onto hers while mindful of the claws tipping your fingers. Focusing on the warmth of her skin, the smoothness of the skin, made it easier to ignore the pain that had pulsed in your bones.
"The last thing my mother told me was that I had to hide mine," you continued, face twisting at the memory, "that there were people out there who wouldn't see me as a person if they saw them."
Your other hand pulled your shirt down by the collar, what little remaining of it gliding down to reveal the spherical pattern over your heart - the nexus point from which all the marks had spread across your body. While Rumi's could pass as tattoos now, iridescent and beautiful, yours had begun to deepen into the skin like valleys, like cuts, purple and pink and painful and hideous.
"I-It was the last thing she said to me, so I honored her wish. I didn't think she would be right." You huffed a laugh, no humor or warmth in it. "I never thought that she was warning me about the Honmoon and its Hunters, of what you or Mira or Zoey or Celine would do if you saw them."
Rumi's heart twisted and fell into her stomach at your words, at the very idea of what you expected of them, but your expression darkened - the whites of your eyes flickered black before being banished back by the light. The words at the tip of her tongue died as you whispered further.
"Then the Saja Boys showed me theres, told me what mine meant, what Huntr/x were. And for the first time, I didn't feel like I was alone. I was just so happy to have someone accept them, to have others who had the same affliction, that I didn't even notice the manipulations. Then I couldn't hide my shame anymore. Couldn't separate the truth from the lies. Couldn't hide how scared I was of you seeing them. Couldn't hide the whispers in my mind."
You screwed your eyes shut tight, shoulders slumping as you buried your face in your hands.
"I-I shouldn't have hid them. I should have told you all from the beginning. I'm sorry, Rumi..." You choked back a sob but it brought you to your knees anyway. "I'm so sorry!"
Rumi was on her knees with you just as fast as lightning, taking you into her arms without any hesitation and whispering in your ear all the things she wished she had been able to say when your secret was exposed: that you were safe, that you were loved, that, despite the blood in your veins, you were treasured. All things she wished she had heard, once.
Okay bro eighty chapters is impressive as hell!!! Also good taste with a Wanda Maximoff fic. If you do ever post it, you gotta share the link.
But it's always a good day when you share more of Blood in My Veins with us, and this snippet you graced us with is as delicious as always, well worth the pain and heartbreak it brings.
"Why didn't you tell me?" will always be such a gut punch way to open a confrontation scene like this. It's a question, begging and pleading. It's an accusation, a realized lack of trust. It's hurt and betrayal.
Focusing on the warmth of her skin, the smoothness of the skin, made it easier to ignore the pain that had pulsed in your bones. -- I just really like these types of lines. That you can forget your own pain or anguish, even if just a little, just from the presence of someone you love.
And for the first time, I didn't feel like I was alone. -- Aaaah the Saja Boys and their manipulation at its finest, always there to get you while you're down, bring you in with sweet words and promises that they will always be there for you, the only ones who will. And can anyone ever really blame Reader for falling for such sweet words when desperate to feel loved and wanted?
Just all of this!! this is perfect every bit!! That ending too, you and Rumi both needed to hear those words for so long.
We don't talk alot about normal jinu alot, so let's do it!
To me, it would be super funny if Jinus darling reader, ever got sick. Because on one hand, especially if their living together and Jinu has to see her misery he'd hate having to see reader so weak, and unlike themselves even if they insist their fine. He tries to take care of him the best way he can but theirs one important thing.
Jinu has no idea how to handle modern medicine, whenever he goes to the pharmacy to try to find something helpful he gets super confused. Because like you wrote in the Obesession Fic he doesn't know what half of these things are. Are these candies meant to heal reader, or are they just their for little kids, and how is he going to figure out which version of the medicine he should get you in the first place if they all look the same? Eventually he asks one of the clerks to help them, and after seeing he's trying to get something for his girlfriend they have no issue helping. Whenever Jinu gets back to readers place he's got a whole lot of stuff, that he admittedly does not know how to use. He does end up making a really nice tea blend for reader that does help her get better eventually though.
Seeing Jinu (and any of the Saja Boys tbh) struggling with the common everyday things we don't even give a second thought bout because they didnt exist when he was alive will never not be fun.
Jinu is nothing if not a man determined to be the best boyfriend he can be to you. He hates when you're sick, when you feel terrible and miserable, no matter if it's a stomach ache or a minor cold. He's bringing back half a pharmacy worth of medicine because he doesn't know which one you'll need but he's sure one of them will make you feel better.
Just never leave him alone in a mall, he's going to get overwhelmed so quickly by everything, and gonna be talked into buying something by every salesman he passes.
I can easily see Rumi being so awful at pulling pranks on her reader. Even if there the most harmless ones imaginable. Anytime she even tries to do one she stutters and then starts to feel bad at the thought of making reader think she got hurt.
Meanwhile reader really wouldnât mind. They sometimes do small harmless pranks on Rumi for fun. But they would be more than delighted for Rumi to prank them. Whenever they see Rumi trying to or getting the courage to. They play along just for fun. Plus it is cute to see how happy Rumi is when she finally thinks she pulled it off.
Oh I can see it.
Itâs either she is too nervous to pull it off successfully, or on the rarer notes too excited that she immediately gives it away.
Meanwhile reader: if Rumiâs having fun then thatâs what matters âșïž
My timeline for Genshin Impact is so fucked right now.
I haven't even left Sumeru yet, and now I'm locked into All Falls to Emptiness despite it being several archon quests away, all because I thought I could just play a little of it to clear up a quest conflict so I could continue the actual quest I wanted to finish today. Had no idea that this would hard lock me into not being able to do anything else BUT this questline.
I'm blaming Istaroth for the timeline shenanigans my Traveler is going through right now. And me of a few months ago for being dumb when I started playing by adding this quest to my active list because it was an ongoing event.
Edit: nvm I am just dumb as fuck, I am free from the quest and am able to push it hopefully to the backburner until I'm actually done with Natlan.
That's snippet from your novel is really cool and really good. The way you describe Jamie freaking out by his confession not working to open the door was really good. River being in his own little world seemingly not caring to get out. Loved itt
Thank you!! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Jaimeâs brain is forever locked on that "worst case imaginable" mindset, poor kid is in a constant state of anxiety and worry over every little thing. He is not built for these kinds of adventures.
Meanwhile River is out here having the time of his life.
I was reading "sweeter than chocolate" the other day and I think it would be so funny if reader was a lot stronger than the average person bc she's half demon bc you just know it would make Mira's crush on her worse. Especially if Mira finds out about reader's strength when she herself was trying to show off for reader.
Like I can see reader coming by to hang out Rumi with something and Mira sees it as an opportunity to show off how cool and strong she is so she pretends she needs to move something really heavy. Reader being the sweetheart she is, is like 'oh Mira let me help' and she picks it up so effortlessly. Mira is swooning bc what do you mean her crush can lift something most people would struggle with?? Oh Mira is a goner at this point. Needs to walk away before she asks reader out right in front of Rumi. Mira then finds others ways to see how strong reader is bc girl is a simp
Before finding out you're half demon, she's subtly trying to ask Rumi what you're workout routine is, what gym you might go to (totally not because of the possibility of running into you at the gym) and then after finding out why you're so strong, absolutely trying to find excuses to have you lift things for her. Oooh she's so tired after a long day of practice or hunting, could you carry her a little? She needs some help moving these heavy objects? all excuses to to get to appreciate your strength.
how would the girls react to hearing I love you for the first time?
Oh it's gonna be completely unexpected. Like that first 'I love you' has them staring at you like deer in the headlights, unsure they heard you right, and stumbling over their words in how fast they try to say they love you back.
A snippet from a novel / collection of interconnected fantasy stories I've been working on (The working title is Unbound). This is more a draft than the final product, but I still enjoy it.
Context: The Knights of the Frontier [Caitel the leader both generous in conversation and vicious in battle , River an elven mage who traded his mind for power, Josephine a free-spirited dwarven bard with a love for alcohol and passion, Asha a secretive elven assassin who has known Caitel for a long time, and Jaime an amnesiac teenage boy the group took under their wing and has a fear for everything] are trapped in a dungeon.
Stay trapped in this chamber until they inevitably died, or reveal an unspeakable shame that they kept buried deep in their hearts.
It was clearly a sadistic test. To see how much they trusted those around them to know a truth they dared not speak. To see if any could bring themselves to look inside and admit to something they tried so hard to ignore.
A test doomed to be failed.
Whoever designed this trap knew that most people who delved into a dungeon like this were the same type of people whoâd rather dieâor killâto keep their shames a secret. It took an insurmountable amount of trust and courage to reveal something so terribly personal.
Considering their party had been trapped for who knew how many hours, they were proving to be faring no better than the corpses around them had.
It had started off with some half-hearted attempts, testing to see just how 'deep' a secret had to be. Caitel had attempted to hurl an assortment of his secrets at the ruby-eyed lion relief on the door to no avail.
That heâd been kicked out of the Faewyn Royal Guard for being too âextremeâ in his methodsâsomething that surprised the others, sure. Not because of why heâd been kicked out, they already knew he was rather ruthless behind his benign smile. But that someone had taken a look at him and let him enlist in the Royal Guard in the first place? Wild.
That heâd been the cause of more than a few deaths during tourneysâagain, unsurprising to the others, and hardly a âshameâ. Deaths at a tourney were commonplace enough that, and while the death rate has drastically dropped in the last few generations, there was still the risk one could be permanently wounded or even killed. It was tragic, yes, but completely unsurprising.
That he didnât get along with his familyâ Was this even a secret to begin with? Even if he rarely spoke about them beyond a few brief and vague remarks, Caitel reeked of daddy issues, and his near desperate need to make a name for himself as an adventurer spoke volumes of feeling overlooked in favor of a golden âolder siblingâ.
The door remaining sealed tight after each one.
Eventually, he ran out of things he had to offerâor dared to offerâand finally redirected his attention to the groupâs bard.
âWhy are you looking at me?â Josephine bristled under his gaze. âWhat? Oh, I get it. I like sex, I have it far more often than you, and itâs so shameful. That's what you're going for, right?â
Caitel offered her a sly smile, âRather, I was thinking more along the lines of your prevalence for festivities and alcohol,â he pointed out playfully. âIâm sure youâve had one or two moments in your life where you drank a little too much and did something you regretted on the morn. Doesnât have to be in regards to who you've taken to bed.â
It was a fair assumption, by all accounts.
The city of Cyrio was renowned in equal parts for its wine, its flamboyant festivals, and for being a land free from inhibition. It wasnât too out of line to assume someone might have had just a little too much to drink during one of their many festivals and did something rather unspeakably humiliating.
But Josephine only scoffed. âOf course I have,â she held Caitelâs gaze, arms crossed over her chest. âBut that doesnât mean I hoard them. I accept when I mess up, and I move on. Lifeâs too short to wallow in misery over things like that, so I donât bury and hide from the things Iâm ashamed of.â
âThat is a rather mature perspective,â Asha hummed from where she leaned against a wall.
âYou donât need to sound shocked by it! Besides, you elves have been around way longer than any of us, you should have plenty of ugly secrets to feed the door.â
River raised his hand at her accusation, the painted smiling on his wooden mask staring straight ahead. âI donât like cabbage.â
Fighting back a groan, Caitel pinched the bridge of his nose. âWe know you donât.â
Their mage had been the only other of the group to be offering up âshamesâ as freely as Caitel had been. The only problem was that River clearly had no idea what was going onâwhich was normal. The madman rarely understood what happened around himâand so his âoffered shamesâ were justâŠrandom, nonsensical anecdotes.
They doubted he had anything he was actually ashamed of. He likely lacked the cognitive clarity to remember half of what he did, let alone feel ashamed of any of it. But that didnât stop him from trying. In his own way.
âI do like fish, though. Fish is good. But not the bones, they scratch at my throat when I eat them.â
âWe know, River.â
Further away, tucked into the safety of a corner, Jaime curled in on himself, shaking hands playing with the ends of his scarf as if the soft fabric could protect him from what was happening. The amount of anxiety rolling off him was suffocating, his eyes flickering back and forth in pure fear.
Claustrophobia battling it out with half a dozen other fears, and a dozen new fears being born.
He looked to Josephine who had begun bickering with Caitel once more over which of the two actually had a âdeep dark fearâ that they were holding out on. To River whoâd already forgotten what they were doing in favor of staring at a beetle scuttling across the floor. To Asha, ever quite and poised, as she leaned against the wall across from him, watching their group in silence.
Swallowing hard, he gripped his scarf tighter, trying to will himself to speak up.
âIâŠâ he stammered out. It was quiet, barely more than a whisper. But three sets of eyes were immediately on him. He shrunk back on reflex, feeling his heart racing loudly in his chest, it felt like it might leap right out of his ribs in a gory mess.
Jaime shuffled his boot against the ground, his throat going dry. Would they hate him if he spoke? Would they abandon him for his honesty? But if he didnât speak, they might be trapped here forever, a slow, torturous death. His eyes flickered to the bones around them, felt the familiar cold shock of dread fill his veins as he imagined themselves in that position, rotting away until all that was left were bones and rotted cloth.
Either they all die miserable and hateful for each other, of they escape and hate only him. Neither option was good. âIâŠahâŠâ
It wasnât courage. It wasnât bravery. It was desperation.
âSometimesâŠsometimes I get scared watching you guys, especially when youâreâŠyouâre fighting enemies. Andââ he choked on his words, couldnât even lift his head to look at any of them, he felt awful, he felt sick trying to say it. âI get so scared, and then thereâs thisâŠthis voice in the back of my head that saysâŠif youâre gone then I wonât be afraid anymore.â
There, heâd said it. A confession. An instinct, an impulse to kill his friends born from his fear of them. A shame he felt too terrified to admit to.
He closed his eyes tightly, hands still shaking as he clung to his scarf, afraid to meet their gazes, afraid of the judgement in their eyes. Afraid thatâ
Josephine laughed.
âThatâs your big secret?â she cackled as she bent over her lute, clutching her stomach as she laughed. âAnd here I thought River was the one spouting things everyone already knew.â
River tilted his head. âI did what?â
Jaimeâs fear had quickly melted into pure confusion.
This wasnât the reaction he had been prepared for, not the response he had expected. Laughterâwhy? Was what he said funny? Did they think he was making a bad joke?
âBut⊠but IâI donât get it. Why are you laughing?â his voice felt small as he looked around. The judgement he had been so afraid of was absent. âIâŠI get urges to hurt you guys when I get scared of you. Isnât that bad?â
Caitel walked over and placed his hand on Jaimeâs shoulder, shaking his head. âKid, youâre scared stiff of your own shadow most days,â he huffed with an amused smile. âPersonally, I think itâd be more than a little offensive if we didnât rank higher on your list of fears than that.â
He supposed Caitel was trying to be comforting, letting Jaime know that those things heâd felt had hardly been a secret, and that they were okay with it. Not that it did anything to soothe his worries.
As though to prove the point, the door remained firmly sealed.
Immediately, a wave of disappointment washed over him.
Jaime deflated, sinking deeper in his own guilt. âIâm sorry,â his shoulders shook as he fought back the sudden urge to cry. âIâI really thought thatâŠthat would be enough. I didnâtâŠIâm sure thereâs more but I donâtâŠI canât⊠Iââ
He continued to mumble out apologies. Apologies for not being able to open the door. For feeling the way he had towards his friends. Caitel in return continued to assure the boy that it was okay, that no one was upset with him over it, simple platitudes that fell on deaf ears.
The air was noisy again. Not bickering, but just as mindless. They were getting nowhere.
No one was able, or willing, to reveal something as personal as what the door wanted.
Josephine and Caitel were both adamant they had no true and dire secrets to reveal that the door would accept, River was just incapable of keeping anything of that magnitude a secret, let alone remembering it, and the greatest shame that Jaime could offer was not enough to satisfy the doorâs demand.
At this rate, they werenât going to escape anytime soon. Not unless someone decided to bite the proverbial leather. And there was only one person in their group who could.
With a sigh, Asha stepped forward.
The others didnât notice her move. Too occupied with each other and with nothing to even notice the elf approaching the door. It didnât matter if they noticed or not. It never did. It never would.
Her expression was ever stoic, carved from stone itself as she stared down at the lionâs relief that had been watching them in mockery.
Sheâd lived a long life. Centuries. Had done many things most would balk at, was certain she had more blood on her hands than all of them combined. Josephine had been wholly correct to say that she had plenty of secrets sheâd told no one in her long life, plenty that could appease the magic trapping them.
And so, she spoke to the door with cold, clinical detachment.
âI murdered my own son.â
The room fell deathly silent in answer to her confession.
Thinking about how reader might not be able to put M/R/Z down as their emergency contact since they're so famous and probably get their phone number leaked at least a few times a year and then have to change it. Meaning if something were to happen to their reader they would have to learn about it from a 3rd party.
Imagine how devastated they would be if Bobby had to pull them aside to tell them their reader got into an accident. Even worse if they have to be told hours later or even learn about it from some celebrity gossip page if reader is famous like them. If you want to make it even worse they learn about reader being in the hospital hours later, adding to their gult
The downside of dating an ultra famous celebrity. Theyâd absolutely hate it, but itâs one of the things they canât do anything about.
I'll send the link to the fic later; but i recall their being a really cute fic on ao3 where Miras reader took her out to a huntrix cafe event as a surprise. It made me think about how funny it would be if her situationship reader did that, with a cafe that doesn't have body pillows of course even their not that bold.
Because think of it, you and mira are tip toeing the line bewteen friends and not friends and she's been dying to ask you out. So during both of your free times, you take her out for a 'hang out' at a cafe... that has a huntrix theme everywhere even in the drinks and food with the biggest grin on your face. Which is not at all helping her being flustered and not all platonic feelings fluster black up again over you being this adorable and you drinking a mira style drink while looking at her with a michevous grin the entire time while mira is just sitting their flustered.
Mira knows she's going to have to do something about her feelings eventually because at this point she can't take reader being so adorable, when she has to debate weather or not she can hold their hand. Eventually Mira gets back at reader by taking her to a cafe that's themed all around y/n lol.
Okay but taking your situationship to a cafe themed on her and her friends is hilarious. I can see Mira being amused by it and overwhelmed by how cute you are.
