putting this here from twitter but: Someone really needs to do a documentary about the vocal synth community the way people document furries and similar subcultures where it talks about the general community and their efforts because all the public press vocaloid gets is “these weird weebs like watching a blue hair girl sing” and I get it because it's funny when you're watching people scream their heads off at a concert of a hologram without any prior context, but all the public press puts the attention onto miku which once again, makes sense since she's the face of vocal synths, but she's not a real tangible entity who makes the music, yknow. She's a direct extension of the producer's lyrics and ideas.

Who makes the music are thousands of producers, who are supported by artists and fans, and that self-sustaining ecosystem is what makes the vocaloid community so huge. Miku is nothing without the people loving her, so there should be people documenting on and interviewing the producers, artists, and fans who make the community go round. Not to mention a community this huge being pretty much entirely decentralized is a huge feat more people need to know about.

after 600 years I finally got around to drawing fullbody designs for this AU! Found family AU thingy with Flower and the Meika twins in which a "family friend" asks Flower if she can babysit only for them to drop these dragon kids on her doorstep and leave so Flower has to take care of these extremely rowdy children who also happen to have fire breath and very sharp claws
