really just wanna vent abt corporate AV/freelance stuff. like i'm grateful for the gig and not everyone has been like this, but the person that hit me up abt it and booked me for this has been kind of off putting and rude ever since the end of day 1. i know i might not be what i was expected to be, but i was given like no heads up abt what to do during these days, i at least had SOME idea on how to do things (unlike the other audio guy that was supposed to be helping me), and have come in last minute to fill in for others. i'm doing what i can, and the other techs have seen that and taken me under their wing, but this one person is just unpleasant to speak to or be around at all times. i get that it's stressful and things change and the weather sucks, but if ur gonna be the person that everyone goes to, please at least try to be cordial to the people that are working for you. things work both ways- if someone sucks they're not gonna get work, and if someone's mean they're not gonna get workers.
