Winning The Lottery

Oh my gosh this is so amazing I just won the lottery 

Well of course you just won the lottery because you are a little dolly 

And you have just a wonderful little family 

So what does everyone think of Dolly winning the Lottery 

I wish it was me instead of Dolly that had won the lottery

Oh what a happy day it is today

The Building

Sure the building looked a little funny 

But boy did it bring in a lot of money 

Lots of people lots of rooms 

I didn’t think that this building would bring in such a big boom

The Fine Establishment

Thank you for accepting me, not many people will even allow me in the building 

No thank you I will not need help with my trunk I can manage myself just point to my room and I will be fine 

Up the stairs to the right. I suppose taking the stairs would be easier than the elevator considering that is a lot of weight I am carrying 

After all this is a fine establishment indeed

Don’t Mind Me

Oh hay don’t mind me I have been working so hard all day and all night keeping myself on track but for the last few days I have been feeling kind of shaky and like I’m about to go off the rails 

I have been so tired and I feel like I could fall asleep at any minutes I hope that doesn’t bother anybody 

But since I am a train and I am a machine it doesn’t occur to anybody that even I need my sleep

The Chair Interview

Well of course I am just a chair. But there is so much more I can do. 

I can relax you after a hard day at the office, your legs will be so relaxed after a long day on your feet. 

You see I am more than just a chair I am also a great helper in thinking. I can make you feel so comfortable as you sit and think or write your thoughts whatever they need by 

I am more than just a chair I will be with you when laughing and crying, when eating and sometimes sleeping 

Yes I am more than just a chair I can also help you become a chair when your little one wants to come up and say hi 

I am more than just a chair you see when you hire me I will become apart of your family and I know that we won’t be together forever but I will be near whenever you need me.

The Dog House

Well honey I am in the dog house now. 

Now my love I would not complain for the view here is wonderful and it is so quiet 

But my darling this dog house is not like all the other dog houses and quite honestly I do feel a little silly staying here. 

I know my sweet when you move me to the dog house you really send me to the dog house

The Old Song

There was a old song that wasn't played in so long

The song was old and thought to be gone, guess I was wrong

The song is slow the words nobody hardly knows

It was a sweet song with cords so strong and really it wasn't very long

Just another song others thought was gone

Dodge Charger With Four Doors

I never liked the idea of the Dodge Charger being turned into a four door vehicle I liked the car back in the 60's with its long sleek body and power under the hood

Dodge did redeem themselves with the Dodge Challenger

But never will I get a modern Dodge.

In order for me to have a Dodge I'm going to need me a booster seat. In order for me to look out any back window

It's Been A While

Since I posted anything

Mostly due to writers block, but I hope that will all change soon.

Still really can't think of anything to write a out and I am worried that if I do write something down it will get flagged. Hopefully the bots got straightened out.

It really has been a while since I have been on here. Mostly just looking and supporting not much typing

Even though my audience is in the double digits I am most greatful and I thank you for being patient with me.

It has been hard to come up with any content lately. Even before our current situation. Just couldn't think of anything to write about

I do have short poems that are now at Twitter @Spiritus_Scribe but even those are few and far between haven't posted there in a long time either.

But I am hoping all of that will change hopefully I can think of something to write about and believe me there is a lot to write about but...to choose to write about that is the challenge.

There used to be a time I would look or read something and say that's a blog and I would write something about it but lately I have found that I have been saying that less and less.

The one I am mostly frustrated with is poetry I have not thought of one poem lately I am hoping that will change too. And I can share more with you.

Things are going well under the Circumstances there is a lot less stress and not so much to worry about. Still have worries but at least they are not as great as they were.

I hope that you all are well and that you are all are safe.

And I would really like to thank all of you for still following me in my silence and I hope that the silence will end soon

Trick Or Treat

It's getting to be that time of year where it is Trick or Treat

And the costumes are so unique

The treats are ever so sweet

And where some will even retreat

The Agressive Weather Continues

Today in Hillsborough which is about 30 minutes away from Portland had a massive storm hit today and continued into this evening.

Hillsborough was hit with torrential downpours some thunder and lightening they have also had some flooding which closed down some of the roads I have been getting a lot of alerts that were warning about which roads were closed and not to even attempt to cross them

It's not unusual at this time of year for Washington County to get hit as hard as they did this time.

It has been a lot easier this year than last. Last year there was a stadium that ended up being flooded. I have not heard of the water getting into the buildings this year

And an update on the tornados that we had last night we did have one tornado touchdown in Washington County and it did mess up a pumpkin patch that was just getting set up for the Autumn festivities

It was confirmed that a EF0 did touch down

Here right now we have had some mild rain and some sun breaks in between.

Two Tornado Warnings In One Night

A friend of mine and I were driving home from a meeting tonight and we heard the Weather Alert come on the radio for a tornado warning

Now as you know from other blogs that I did on the tornados normally they are a EF0 or a EF1. The worst tornado we have had was a EF 2. But the way they made it sound was that this maybe at least an EF 2 or maybe 3. It sounded a little worse than normal

Thankfully when we got to my friends house we found that it was not a huge deal the tornado didn't touch down and it was passing. It quickly got reduced from warning to watch to nothing.

Then just an hour later there was a tornado warning in Washington as well but this one almost touched down. And it looked pretty big.

Not only did the State of Washington almost have a tornado touch down but they also had some flash flooding on I-5 North.

So in some parts of Washington and Oregon it has been a crazy weather day.

But unfortunately I have not seen any thunderstorms or any lightening storms today. Although today it did rain really good

I was almost expecting a thunderstorm today
